The title, basically.
Marksmanship. Now summons eagle/hawk/whatever that thing is, even if you take the talent that brings your actual pet back.
Beast Mastery. Even if you evade all the talent that summon random animals in the spec tree, the choice is either Dark Ranger crows (really?) or Pack Leaders’ summons.
Survival. Again, Dark Ranger or Sentinel with it’s starfall thingie. At least it’s not another animal this time I guess.
I kinda miss the times when it was only me or me and a single companion. Thoughts?
Because you totally want to be rexar, or a night elf right?
I think if they are going to keep these things we need to get the option to change the animals from the really imersion breaking druid owl, to something more related to the character, likewise with the rexar pets.
We should be allowed to pick what pets appear for what.
Even if it’s just replacing the owl/wyvern
With a Bat/Rylak/gryphon etc.
Not every hunter is an elf.
I don’t know what they were thinking. The BM PL class fantasy now being ‘literally Rexxar’ is so creatively bankrupt and not at all what many hunter players wanted, I’m sure.
Well I mean, that’s kind of the case with the other two specs to.
Even if you’re a gnome, if you pick a hero spec you’re sylvanas a nightelf or rexxar.
That’s just what these hero talents are. You’re cosplaying other famous characters. I don’t mind the talents I just wish they weren’t so tied to other characters.
It wouldn’t be an option if we could customise these things. Like change the emerald dream owl, or change the rexxar summons.
Kinda agree. It was nice back then, but the new Pack Leader BM is just really really funny. It gets compared to Rexxar a lot, but I disagree in that…
I don’t believe even Rexxar threw his pets and summoned the entirety of an area’s animals/pets to attack a target every two minutes or so. Like seriously, at one point, I was only seeing my pets charge over and over again whilst wolves, dinosaurs, animals and the kitchen sink were the only projectiles i’ve been seeing.
I would gave hand and a foot to have a MoP survival hunter without a pet in todays WoW. Spec was perfect. Since MoP classes have layers upon layers of fake complexity, that does not result in good gameplay.
