I dunno, I heard loads of people complaining about mages
Thanks for telling us you are cluess about mages and clealry have not played one for a long long time.
I have zero sympathy for muppets who feel a need to tell other classâs what they deserve based on past expansions.
Fact is mage is getting mostly ignored and huge chunks of the mage trees are just bloat and pointless splitting of AOE / Single target to pretend they have meaningfull choice these days.
So when it is your class this is the case while it is others then it matter what the past expansions have been.
And there i lost any last sympathy for anything you say about it.
If you are going to act the fool that is just bad but this is even worse.
Will remember your take here.
Welcome to WoW i guess you must be new around here to not know this is kinda standard.
What you guys are asking for is not just tuning it is a rework aka something that is a thing for Expansion changes level of things.
Reworks inside of expansions is not common at all there being more then 1 per expansion is very rare.
The first time they did this was in Legion.
Blizzard has literally said there are zero reworks in the pipeline.
Also at the moment it is very likely for mage to be meta dps in M+ next season (though will need to see if that actually happens)
i heard none before mage was not meta
Ditto, its fairly obvious your just a troll.
If you dont know what you are talking about please dont post on the mage forums, you just come across as a fool.
From what I recall there were plenty of complains from mages, even when they were Meta, primarily centered around their playstyle.
Arcane mages were always complaining that their burst makes them too static, even when they were performing well. Disruption caused too much of a damage loss to them.
Fire mages were often complaining about their playstyle resolving too much about Combustion, and the lackluster gameplay during downtime.
You may just not have been looking at the right forum sections up until this point.
And from what I gathered here the issue mage players have right now is not in the numbers, but in the playstyle they have right now. It was the same reason why Feral was changed back in Legion (had too much to keep track of). Enhancement shaman had the same issue back in Legion: They had the numbers, but their playstyle was changed to something horrible after the first patch, and then in the last patch it got changed back to their season 1 playstyle.
Its actually both.
No one wants to take mages on 20+ keys when every other dps can pull better numbers with half the effort and gear.
And that is why it is a Expansion level change these people want there has been more then ever changes in dragonflight however Blizzard themselves via Ion has said they do not expect to be making any more reworks.
First Rework of wows history was in legion on that shaman.
Every other expansion or patch if the playstyle was problematic you just had to live with it until the next expansion.
That might have been the case but i am not saying it is not i am saying i did not hear about it at all before this.
It is 100% that you are a troll by saying this or you do not know english well enough.
Because you did not understand what i was saying yet you went straight for the attack vector instead of using your head.
It is not me who say this is an expansion level change you want it is Blizzard and blizzards history of the game just because you ignore this does not change this fact.
Even Reworks are expansion level changes it is just done inside an expansion.
But hey at least i wont see you around.
Na, we all get who is trolling at this point.
You gave yourself away by stating:
We do not do really well in PvE compared to many other dps classâs and if you played a mage you would know this.
You try to deflect to blizzard does X, blizzard does Y, all whilst trundling on under the delusion that mages have been perfect for multiple expansions now.
Its this attitude that shines through from non mage players.
Just telling mages to suck it up and be happy to be bad at the one thing we can do in the game cause we were mabey good at one or two points in past expacs is the attitude of a child. Its not helpful and the fact they have given other classâs reworks during the expansion also invalidates your claims that nothing can change till the next expac.
It can change it just takes them actually doing their jobs with something aproaching competency.
