🩹 It's long time we didn't talk about : Bandage

Greeting forums !

In BFA First Aid is gone. Transfering Bandage to Tailoring.

There were a time where it was strong , and the reason why you got a debuff after using it. When i mean strong it healed better than food.

I remember when i was a twink, bandage was cool if you didn’t have time to eat or drink, and need to go fast so you could use a bandage to heal yourself fast , not full but at least 35% of your health regenerated in 8 seconds when i was with my twink.

Well today i sure 99% of the player have forgot this and still use it. Because the healing is too weak and you are just loosing money and time using it.
And it will continue in Shadowlands since the bandage for 3 520 over 8 seconds when player got 37 500 hp ( bandage heal over 8 seconds for 9,3% of his health. So it’s 1,1 % every seconds ) .

It’s would be cool if it’s back , it will offer a new marked and a new tool for player.

It will :

  • Offer a new option of healing : Without overhelming food since food regenerate mana and give “Well Fed” buff
  • Gain Time : when healer is drinking after a pack of mob but people is very low, the group can use bandage to heal just a minimum so they will get a minimum of health to survive the time the healer finish his drink during the new pack engaged.
  • Gain a new market for tailoring out of armor and bag : so now tailoring can now access to farm on consummable with bandage.
  • Making class lacking of healing to be able to heal a little : so you can be able to heal other or yourself and not suffering too much of your class design.
  • ( Optionnal ) Be able to tag back as healer in group as class without heal : The famous argument of " Yea but i got bandage i can heal " to be back for the meme :joy:

At least Bandage will become something used again. I’m not a classic player but if i remember it maked sense to use Bandage if i remember.

So like we need a serious buff on Bandage in Shadowland. To boost the use of it and his market and bring a new consummable in M+ / Random Battleground / Open World.

What do you think to bring back Bandage to it former glory guys  ?

I miss bandages too. There was also Anti-Venom that might not be that bad nowadays too.

I personally don’t miss them but that’s probably because I play a paladin and self healing is something I’ve always had.

I’m not sure why we had to lose bandages but I’m very happy I can level tailoring that way.

It was a nice quest chain in Legion, I really hate when they remove stuff from the game.

You have my support!

It’s time to bring them back and reduce self-healing a bit while you’re at it.

just buff bandage healing by 300% . its breakable by dot anyways

Good riddance. Was always painful to watch, as a tailor, people wasting precious cloth on bandages. And was annoying leveling it up a million times.

Well i know what you’re saying but the issue is almost all classes/specs got self-heals , back in the days rogue warrior and other didn’t had any self-heals

I remember doing an intimidating shout and try to heal as much as i can

Even if they bring it back ppl won’t use it .

i think for class that can off heal the heal must be stronger than the bandage. But at least class like warrior / hunter etc can heal off combat.

they only got heal in combat for some.
Warrior can’t heal out
hunter got 2mn cd or need camouflage but camouflage is efficient like food
etc

They don’t cost much as i remember.
And what are you doing with white cloth otherway  ?

i don’t think reducing the self healing is necessary.
Since the time you self heal yourself is quite 8 seconds too to be top health.

So bandage help like we got self healing out of combat

if that’s the deal with bandage tmog included I am game

I liked bandages a lot, nowadays we all have self healing and they’re kind of pointless though.

They should’ve never have given non-hybrid classes so much self healing.

The Surgeon Class is definitely on the cards.

Be honest, who read Bandage with a O instead of A at first?
