Do you actually get sun in Bristol, Afenton?? I know its supposed to be scorchio for a few days, even our local Tesco is considering closing if it gets too warm

Bristol UK, I just got special permission to keep my son home from school when the temp goes up to 34-36 degrees. Advice is to keep young kids out of the sun as much as possible but they won’t be closing the schools or changing the school days to stop them leaving at the hottest part of the day :woman_facepalming:

Yes, too much of it! Our roads are melting and they are sending out the grit wagons to try stop it.

Strangely enough we rarely get snow, at least more than a few flakes that melt before they hit the ground

Then i was planing on pushing mythic. But this garbage system has just changed my 15 key, to a 13 key

Yeah, we just aren’t built for it, when it goes towards 30 our transport networks start to fail so over 30 we start to have real problems and all our buildings are designed to hold in heat, schools, workplaces and homes just aren’t made for hot weather they are designed to cope with mild to cold temperatures which is why we don’t cope even for a few days. One of the dads at my sons school is Greek and even he is hating life right now.

I am going to go to the supermarket later and stock up for a few days then not leave the house until the rain comes unless its very early run to the corner shop for a necessity :laughing:
