Its time to fix this ret paladin meta

So im enjoying SoD and it’s great but blizzard you need to change this fast 2h weapon seal of blood martyr. Its absolutly cringe how we are now lvl 50 and still using a meme weapon from gnomer. Fix seal of command and divine storm so we can go back to playing like a real paladin.

And no im not saying to buff ret paladins simply to fix this fast 2h weapon meme.

I agree. We need slow 2h back, especially at 60 when all raids are gonna drop slow 2hs. They can’t and shouldn’t modify them to 2.00 speed just for paladins

I think the excorcism meta is also stupid, it’s okay to have a rune on it so we can press it on CD. but that we already got the 3rd rune for the same spell… I think this is very boring.
The paladin is essentially a weakened wotlk version right now.
0 fantasy, 0 novelty,
They want to force shockadin with the runes, but it doesn’t want to work properly either, maybe if infusion of light and sheath of light weren’t on the same rune slot.

Now now. Careful what you wish for. A real* paladin in Classic is a bearded dude with a dress throwing heals to his teamates. There is no such thing as ret paladins, unless they are speced deep bench.

More seriously, i agree. Fishing for Exorcism procs feels more like Shokadin should be doing. Not Rets. I am with you OP.

If you were playing like a ‘real paladin’ you’d be dropping the weapons entirely and would be healing.

  1. I dont see me complaining about Paladins anywhere, just about the people who keep talking about their Paladain fantasy being bascially Arms Warrior.

If u are a warrior u have a right to complain. But then again if you read closer im not calling for paladins to be buffed. Simply for this meme fast 2h weapon meta to be changed.

So true until you experience the luxury of having a 2h ret in full t2.5 gear AoE tank in 20 mans so you can spam explosions on a mage without dying. Ahhh I still miss those days.

If they just made chockadin be the one using fast 2h and ret to go back to slow 2h.
Now there are just 2 casterspecs for DD.
