It's time to offer an Elite PvP Transmog Token

Give -everyone- something to chase by adding in a token system similiar to the Vicious Saddles, but make it for previously obtainable Elite PvP transmogs.

It is silly that Mythic Raiding gear is always consistently available, including getting easier with every new release. However, the unique PvP coloration are still locked away and unobtainable for anyone who would wish to chase them.

Make them difficult to obtain, but make them obtainable so that more people have an incentive to try their hand at PvP and chase a reward that they’re genuinely interested in.

Unlike gearsets, transmogs and mounts are a stable that lasts forever, a fitting reward for anyone who wish to dedicate the time and effort to achieve it.

Yep, exactly what I wish for, but for them also not to make raid sets trivially easy to collect

no it’s not time and it will never be, re-adding old elite sets would completely destroy their value and make them worthless, unobtainable items are the only thing that is still cool and unique.

you cannot compare raid gear and removed elite sets because we have known since the beginning of time that these sets will become unobtainable after that specific season ends and raid gear isn’t, it’s nothing new it’s a completely different story there is no comparison.

’‘a fitting reward for anyone who wish to dedicate the time and effort to achieve it.’'

it has already been done back in the days, this is exactly why the old elite transmogs are cool, same with old achievements you had to put in the work and initiative during that time. everything that is removed from the game shall remain that way, the game is already in the absolute worst state it has ever been, making changes like this would make it even worse we need to stop this entitled mentality before the game gets even worse, blizzard has proven over and over that they are unable to make good changes that is healthy for the game, world of warcraft has turned into a complete joke, this game used to be special, forum posts used to be informative, progressive and have an impact on the games health, i can’t blame blizzard not wanting to even consider reading the forums these days because of posts like this, there is nothing useful being posted here anymore and the only ones posting are either people crying because they are snowflakes, entitled people and trolls. if you genuinely think re-adding removed stuff back into the game for them to mean nothing you don’t love the game, it all started with wod, new character models that looks so insanely goofy and bad, spell animations that looks absolutely awful in every single way, pvp illusions that no one cares about because they look garbage, we went from a sick red glow, a sick green glow to what we have now. we have literally gone backwards, i just can’t sit back and not comment when i see posts like this, if this turned into a reality it would be a start of something bigger, more and more unobtainable things would be possible to get because that is how this company handle things after mop and it has been shown, the game barely breaks 1 million subscribers if that (retail) we need to improve the game and not turn it into a private server, more than it already is.

Nah, exklusive mogs are not a bad thing.

The reason they do not remove the mythic sets is that they do not remove the raid.

But the season that you earned that elite set in is temporary.

I could see this to a degree but to get those sets it should be like 2k rating and every win above 2k rating gives you a %.

I assume the elite sets are from 1800+ rating. Two thousand rating isn’t easy.

On another note, I do wish the saddles were sellable. Reason I say this is the folks that get all the pvp mounts they get saddles… and do they just sit there? This way they can get them and place them on the auction house.

Yes please. Hell, I would get into competitive PvP if I could get my hands on Legion gladiator stuff again.

Ah got you. I don’t pvp all that often so wasn’t sure.

Thank you for the insight on that. Perhaps 2100 then?

As someone who missed out the perfect Frost DK armor in S2 Shadowlands (Elite PvP Set) due to not finding players for Rated PvP, I absolutely agree.

Either make them available or make Mythic armor sets unobtainable after 1 full year of the raid being out.

Treat it the same, one way or the other.

So…

you didnt dedicate any time and effort but you want elite pvp sets?what about who actually played and fighted for it? not everyone buys boosts you know, some people still enjoy the game and the process of learning/become better and surpass their objectives by the hand to fight for a purpose.

thanks but NO. pvp coommunity allready said no many times in the past on that matter too more officially.

i dont have all elite pvp sets and i dont deserve it because i didnt play to won them.but i have many and love them all because i remember making each one.

also…raids against a cpu istn play against people…and cpu mobs can be 1 shotted later for the mogs while the countless hours planning/making teams/friends etc to make rated matches and win them is a lot more effort than 1 shot a entire legacy raid in 10 minutes.

also you are lvl 19 honor you never play pvp why you ,has a new pve player come here boast you want elite pvp mog sets for free? while others had to play and also, pay for the game to play it in that time.

Clearly, Vrayth is right in their original post.
It is true that it is not fair to pve players not to have anything cool that would become unobtainable, while pvp players do…
Since blizzard doesnt seem to remove content/rewards correctly, it would actually make a lot more sense not to remove anything.
They even added back old Tier3 that you can buy at the scam BlackMarket.

BRING BACK ELITE PVP GEAR TO BMAH TOO !

FOMO is :poop: where ever it is

Certainly, but let’s not pretend the formula isn’t the same every season. “Kill the other team more often than they kill you, increase ranking, get swag.”

All OP is really asking, is that PvPers get agency in choosing what their reward should be. New cosmetics, or ones from previous seasons. You still get to show off your PvP abs and people still have to earn it.

You can get elite sets, you just need to play rated pvp and climb on the season that set is avaiable.

Pvp is not pve.
