Overkilling the boss in raids sounds great, until you figure it out that people will only invite players that will overkill the boss. Make the boss adapt(more hp more mechanics or what ever) to the ilevel of the raid, i think is a bit ridiculous that people ask for what could be a mythic player only to join their raid, just because it can make the boss easier, this solution would take away any reason to try overkill the boss and the raid experience stays the same. so if the boss would take 10 min to kill with flawless mechanics and good dps, after certain ilevel number pass the boss can only die at 10 min and this should be included in lfr and normal( this is the entry barrier for brand new raiders). Protect the new raiders.

i don’t understand how people support zerging and then complain they get no invites in raids that are supose to be their start points.
Modern raiding looks like this:
Guild only - Progression
Pug only - Zerg, overkill with ilvl, looking for people with 20ilvl higher than ilvl of items which drop from this difficulty.
Nothing is gonna change soon. Guild life is what most people will advice.

ive been asking for an end to mythic and install a ''boss gets harder the higher your ilvl and, in bfa case, corruptions and the boss gets easier if you agree to disable all addons" and rewards higher gear levels based on that.

You should know that zerging is something that happens when content is already out geared,but you dont because you dont raid.
Apart from outgeared content, raiding takes place inside guild runs. Get one that raid and stop whining with 0 reason.
The mentality is even present in the M+ ques.
They want 20 item levels above what the dungeon drops. Only those who need those dungeons for their RIO will even bother with that. And this is also why this will never stop.
Blizzard has all but gotten rid of individual struggles. Tough quest kill you say? Dont worry. Somebody will come along and kill them for you.
Then dont check. Use your own brain.
Those people only looking for free carry, cos they are so bad, i never join groups like that.
