It's too weak, the whole defensive kit of enha

I don’t usually want to bash anything, but the Enhancement shaman’s Healing Surge playstyle needs to change. It’s totally out dated and feels like you can’t get anything out of totems. Enha is far too weak to endure anything at all and is bound to change. The Healing Stream totem needs to tick at a much faster pace than it does right now, either so that it’s connected to class’s haste, or that it gets special value criticals from crit, or that it’s tied to mastery, or so that enha gets more regen from earth shield. Healing Surge is far too weak to keep class alive alone. Changes need to be made and make them in future seasonal changes.

You’re talking about pvp here?

Cannot talk about pvp, but in pve compared to previous seasons it feels pretty refreshing. With the passive DRs we get and the new shield totem we get plenty of tools.
I do not expect us to be the most durable melee or anything close to dks, but we won’t struggle that much at least.

Not just pvp but also about Enha in solo content. That totem you mean is on 3 min CD, it’s quite long CD as Enhancement doesn’t really have any type of mitigation. I can compare Blood Dk and Enhancement Shaman both are having spiky damage recover.

You’re comparing a tank to a dps. This is not a fair comparison.

Generally speaking with having leveled 8 different characters to lvl 80, enh was one of the “tankiest” ones.

Most of the times HS were enough to top me in the end of the mobs, and in case of emergencies earth ele and shield totem were enough.

Keep in mind, I am comparing it to other dps, for example mages during leveling were pretty bad with only a low cd on shield and a way to escape (invi).

But if you compare to tanks sure, those are living a different life.

Enhance defense is literaly the worst from all melee classes. Easily.
