I beat the guardian one on a level 50 though it took me more tries than Legion and took me using consumables. So, wrong again.

Sure they do, but it matters less now than it did in Legion. I’ve pointed this out time and time again, given I’m pointing at challenges I did in Legion without ever using raid gear or consumables.

Siege gear has no vers on it , and it’s sockets for Main stat if someone decides to use it.

its an MMO , gear and progression affects outcome. Its a balance between player skill and power via gear / consumes etc. Better players require less power by compensating with skill, skilled players can leverage both or afford to have less power via gear.

Fortnite is also an MMO. It would appear you confused that with RPG.

Wrong~ If you looked at stats back then… 837 did it on their first try on release week, and the average FOR THE FIRST WEEK was 32 attempts to get it.

I got the trinket yesterday first try after reading this, it is absolutely excellent. It makes phase one faster and that results in less infernals in phase two, making it easier.

I levelled BFA alchemy yesterday so I didn’t have to pay for pots/flask. Today I downed Kruul 2nd attempt. Prior to getting the trinket and using BFA consumables I’d never had him below 20%. I got him to 16% yesterday with just the trinket.

So thanks for this post, I’d never have done it without it.

you don’t NEED to farm any old gear and it’s not Versatility holding you back.

Actually, gear makes a big difference, a friend did it easily after switching to the gear you can purchase from the vendor just outside.

I JUST COMPLETED IT.

And I -hate- that it’s because I used an old trinket, and three pieces of old timewalking gear for vers + gems.

Then I did it FIRST TRY.

Let me just really bring this home.

YAY, I did it. After having 80+ wipes failing at 4 - 10% repeatedly.
I then put on 3 bits of an armor and an old trinket.
Did it first try.

I’m still not a fan of this…

i have like 80% mastery 40% Ver 25% leech 5% cirt and 14% haste on rogue i dont need cirt when i have lego gives 100% cirt for 4 seconds buth in pvp and pve

i just pop off boom a 100k hp tank dead on 2-3 sec

No it wouldnt at all that would mean you avg 33.333 recurring dps and with how badly weighted your stats are not going to do it .

think the most impactfull thing on my gear when i did were claws of ursoc for doulbe oils and enchants and seed pod which not needed but helped clear every second grp of adds faster and easier, the rest is cheap trash craftable gear for versa +haste/crit (had 15% versa during kruul)
