Blizzard have torn all the cool stuff away from our class. They’ve made us unplayable, unviable for raid, no one accepts us for pvp.
Three weeks after full release, SL is in full swing, no one is going to wait around for broken classes. The race is on and the competition is fierce.
I’ve put in tons more hours into my class than most people in my guild and my skill parses higher than people that beat me on dps. This actually makes me depressed.
They have one chance to get this right early so we can enjoy an extremely, most vital part of the expansion. The beginning. Something I’ve looked forward to participating in for years. I do not want to get left behind.
And they reply with this… 5% extra damage.
Here, I made a reply to this and did the math on what affect this will have on our position in raid, and therefore our viability and whether we will actually get invited or not.
I believe this will not be enough. Please if you have any insight I’d like to know. Please add your raid logs to this thread and add 5% to your damage, do some math and tell me, do you feel your new postition on damage meter accurately represents your skill and gear achieved? I absolutely do not feel this way.
5% is nowhere close enough, nor does it fix the problem of having blade dance and immo aura as dps loss on single target without talents.
Also the 4min meta is a joke by now, it is way too weak for 4 min cd.
Our defensives in pvp are nonexistent, our dmg as well outside of the hunt (which many do not play).
This does not change anything and just proves blizz does not read forums and are clueless. I had freakin 95% logs in the raid and did less dmg than a hunt with 50% logs how is that even possible, buff thebloody single target dmg by at least 15% or we will not be viable in m+ during tyranical weeks and in raids … ever … and it is not just “minmaxing”, the stuff is overtuned af, you cannot afford to bring bad classes rn.
We dont even have that great mobility compared to other classes anymore wdym warr has charge, heroic leap and intervene, monk has better mobility, mage as well, anything with slow/root can kite is endlessly, wdym wtf also how do you kill a melee by having mobility ? You have not reached lvl 60 on any character yet, why do you comment on class balance you smartass.
Tbh seeing how they gave a few other classes a generic 5% buff not focusing on buffing indivisual abilities, this makes me think we will see further tweeking in the coming weeks. I think the 5% buffs are simply blizzard acknowledging that they are aware of the issue. So dont riot yet give it 2-3 weeks xD
It’s funny how fast players give up to something… We are only 2,5 weeks in Shadowland… 99% don’t even got any heroic raid gear…

First step was the 5% buff…
It’s so annoying players always are looking for any excuses instead becoming better with the class design… Craft your bis legendary, get 210 gear, get perfect stats, get perfect conduit… and after all this… If we still suck… Come back and give professional feedback…
Anyway on topic, you do realise the game is exactly the thing you described the “journey” once you reach the point you are saying the game is done, you finished it, (for a month or two or five) but you are done.
Being bad hurts us NOW, which makes all the “journey” unfun stresfull difficult and annoying, first step we hit a wall is in raid were our only good choices are locked, but we cant get there because we suck, and we suck more cos we cant get our legendaries. I applied for 50-80 group denied for all of them 100% , got my legendary as tank, i think thats an workaround not a good solution.
Next i had very often people asking in raid to “kick” demon hunter because they are bad as class , literally asking to kick DH, and more often then not the DH’s were very good players who were sticking in top dps due to skills gear etc, but people didnt care, it baffles me until now they wanted to kick top 2 dps from raid, because he was a DH. I think i have screens, when i posted logs in raid 5 times from 5 bosses , their excuse was : yes but he was bad he died a lot (also false btw) . So instead of admitting of being wrong and wanting to kick someone for no reason they just go on.
Now you understand whith what we must deal ? Who cares about 210 when we are being miserable now ?
Dude I got 95% logs and i am doing less dmg than 50% logs hunt, piss off, you are clueless. Also how fast ? We have been saying this for a loong time now, we pay them, so we expect them to at least balance the stuff when we are underperforming with our ONLY DPS SPEC BY 25%.
What did we expect ? Demonic baseline and made into 8 sec buff again, first blood baseline so we can actually use blade dance in st rotation without dps loss, same with immo aura.

I like the playstyle … if it procs it feels really nice with demonic, but it is very rng and it is useless most of the time. But when it procs combined with demonic it feels good.
TROOOO the content is really hard and also got turned up and we’re running round with a gimped class. I can’t even get invited to m+ 7 as Havoc right now and I have 190ilvl.
Same, I had to use my soul ash on a tanking legendary when I was hoping to save it for Castle Nathria drop and set my loot spec to vengance to get some tanking trinkets missing out on dps drops I really needed.
I have 191 gear i do my rotations and warrior tank out dps’s me how what is this bs even if legendary 2x dmg of eye beam i’m still doing less dmg pls buff us
I’d like to meantion our BIS legendary comes from the second last boss in raid. Or the last depending which way you want to go. You dont just Craft it. ( this is for havoc) I’m not wasting soul ash for vengeance leggo since i dont play it.
Unless you are in a guild that raids all the time, which mine isnt. I might get mine in few weeks.
Also i havent been able to beat torgast stage 6 last boss while other classes are doing it easily. I tried it as vengeance and as havoc, both times the damn worm pretty much wipes the floor with me. So yeah dps buff is more than welcomed.
My main is a DH… So iam not clueless… You killed 4 bosses on normal raid, playing with a crap legendary and complaining about your class… That’s the funniest thing I saw today…

What does it matter ? I have 95± logs on those bosses and I did less dmg than classes with 30-50 logs, what would me killing the whole raid even change about that ? I played at the max of my class and got outperformed by someone below average because their class does more dmg. I did my +9 keys which is above average for sure, I am not saying I am the best DH player there is, hell this is first expansion I even play DH, but saying “HUR DURR BAD LEGENDARY HUR DURR” (especially when our only 2 good legos drop from last 2 bosses) is idiotic and stupid. If anything is annoying it is people like you.
Also it absolutely makes no sense to expect people to have their bis legos and CLEAR THE WHOLE BLOODY GAME to make an opinion, I can be a lvl 55 DH and I can tell you DH feels clunky, weak, squishy and not fun at all compared to other classes, jesus.
