I got mine today, after 15 mins of daily reset. I wasnt camping it, just noticed something flew away with 600km/ hour :joy:

and? how does it hurt anyone if respawn is shorter? you already have to be lucky to get the lasso aswell.

i think people have the right to complain about such timesink boring literally just sit there an wait game design.

wow we really complain about everything here! It’s a mount out of 1000 mounts that you can collect and you will never use.It’s an optional task , 14hours?! you doing it to yourself, cause you dont have to do it, you just want the mount and if you want the mount so bad, then make it 100 if necessary, otherwise walk away. Dont blame blizz.

Why should everything be easly obtainable by everyone? Having bit of exclusivity doesnt hurt anyone. If you dont like how it works just dont bother with that mount.

Timelost Proto-Drake say you Hi .

8 Hours MINIMUM before spawn , shared with multiple rare (2 atleast, ,timer reseting if it were not him) and could litteraly fly across whole stormpeak .

Ivory is not so bad at this point.

I remember camping the bastard for two days straight without sleep along with 200 other people in the zone. And that was just one shard.

But doing it after the mount was just put in the game is just a little bit … awful.

Can you imagine if they put Invincible on the first boss (i.e. Mr. BOOOONESTOOOORM) and made it a 100% droprate? Can you imagine how people who actually farmed Invincible for years would feel?

Some mounts are just very hard to get or very rare. That’s okay.

especialy the 100% drop mounts i think. sure they can put a faster respawn , but then it wont be a 100% droprate.

I got the mount after camping it for 3.5 hrs.
I was among the lucky ones from the group who managed to catch it during this 4s window after the first person caught it.
Half of our raid team failed to capture it because they were ‘lower’ than the mount’s spawn point and some were even affected by the Great Worm from Beyond debuff.
My friend missed it because the rare vanished in front of his nose by a second.
So yes, it’s frustrating, especially as you dedicate so much time to wait for it and then it just, poof, gone.
Which brings me back to the days of camping TLPD, never again :smiley: I’m just glad I am done with these hard rares for now…but I definitely feel the pain and I won’t defend this design.

I was just about to say, I can only assume the people complaining about this mount never had to deal with a one tag once in a lifetime TLPD or if you were a hunter with any self respect a one tag 9 possible almost ALWAYS camped by either hunters or achievement hunters spawn spots for Loque’nahak.

Now you’re whining about a guaranteed 100% drop every 3 hours?

TLPD, I feel I’ve been the unluckiest person when it comes to TLPD…
Camped it since WotLK and got it on August 2018. Dedication…it paid off eventually. xD

If you think the TLPD was bad its Stonecore cousin Aeonaxx was even worse. I have NEVER seen or indeed heard of anyone seeing it or even killing it.

I camped it when it was current, having people to talk to helps pass the time, but seeing as how I got closer to handling Jennifer Lopez’s rear end than seeing Aeonaxx I gave up roughly 3 months into Dragon Soul. I had more fun collecting the 3 Hunter challenge spirit beasts in Molten front, especially watching people who would try to sneak tame getting one shotted because they didnt know you had to be absolutely gear less for Ankha or Maghria.

its near a zan-tien camp right bellow those flying worms, its hard to believe it spawns that high but yh, it’s actually that high, if you not being beamed by those worm youre doing it VERY wrong.
