Ivus the forest lord

I have gone through portal to Darkshore this morning to do honorbound emmisary quest and Ivus is not available to me, no quest comes up on side of screen, I did join a friend as it was working for them, but quest never counted as complete for me

I had the same issue with Nazjatar world boss, i realised that even if i’m in raid group who kills boss, and if i’m dead and not relasing i’m getting loot from boss, but world quest to kill boss is not completed. Have you been dead in a moment when boss was killed?

Its only happening on Ivus, and its difficult to die on that boss tbh, I did Ivus on 7 chars yesterday it never showed as a quest on any and was pointless anyway as I wasnt getting rewarded for it although I could roll. I know when Ivus first come out there was same issue with it, but not happened to me before.

There is also possibility that there is another world quest nearby, with big area and it’s overlapping Ivus quest.

Same today in Arathi Islands on my alliance, Doom’s howl the big boss there is not showing on map as I fly over nor has the green button that you can click to join group there popped up, and I havent been here since it was last available a couple of weeks ago,

Did kill Ivus twice on my different horde characters, should have been reseted since last time. Doesnt do anything and doesnt drop anything. Doesnt even show a quest for some reason.

Have had this occur in any world quest. So again - the issue is larger than this one boss. I have not found any common theme between the failure of quests.

There are two problems I have had :

  1. I complete world quest, but does not count towards emmisary (i.e. doing shell game does not count for Tortollan emmisary while quest gets completed)
  2. Quest objective is complete, but world quest does not complete and I gain no reward (i.e. kill world boss, or named mob, but quest does not complete even after multiple tries. Or most common quest where this occurs more constantly is the naga wave quest in murlocs area in nazjatar - there I do not even get complete because doing either of two objectives does not complete or completes at random)
