Considering it’s a realm, it happens to other realms.
I’m sure it doesn’t affect you on PvE realms XD.
I remember in Vanilla I desperately wanted to get to 60 and start raiding… and when I did, I didn’t look back.
Just because it took me longer back then doesn’t mean that I don’t want Classic. I wouldn’t still be here if I didn’t.

You think you want leveling to matter? You will be paying for boosts to skip it.
You think you want no sharding? When you see our queues you’ll beg for it.

I play on ZT, Earthshaker and Ten Storms. All are pvp…nice try though.

Arguing minor points - the big full servers are awful for getting groups, levelling for the most part consists of paying a mage to boost you.

Earthshaker = Alliance dominated = gg
ZT = Horde player, if you saw my post - I clearly stated horde rogues are doing it
And ten storms is also horde dominated
There’s an entire guild dedicated to ganking.
They’re well known on my realm xD.
Am I meant to assume that you didn’t reroll from your shaman from all the ganking? xD.
All leveling consists of on my realm is either boosting dungeons or not enough players in the world as there’s no point as they’re dying every few minutes to gankers.
Maybe 5-7 people in each zone, if you’re lucky.
Then… if they’re on the same quests as you.
And on the same level as you.

The problem with ‘big’ servers is they’re locked; so no new players can go there…thus low level activity will be lower.
This is one of my many alts. You want me to list them all?
I play ZT both sides - it’s 60/40 (ally favoured). What does that matter though?
I also play Earthshaker both sides - again it’s about 60/40.
Ten storms I only play horde tbh but I think that’s more like 70/30
Either way your arguments are not what I experience.
And people do experience this, so people will prefer to get boosted over getting killed non stop.
Not sure what your point is.

Yes - but you say it as if it’s the only experience; I just refute it and say it’s not the only experience.
I rly wonder if me and the OP play different games.
Here’s my experience as a new player on a brand new server:

I did not even have to look for a group for Wailing Caverns. Players at The Barrens were constantly looking for players for WC and RFK. I joined 2 such groups, completed all associated dungeon quests, and got so much experience that I have had to stop doing instances in order for other quests in my quest log to not turn grey.
Through random dungeon groups, I reached level 23 so fast that I had to stop doing dungeons for a while.
From the time of logging, I am being whispered by random people not to buy boosts, but to come heal or DPS for their dungeon.
Yesterday, I found a group for Shadowfang Keep within minutes, but I had to go because real life.
All around me there’s tons of players leveling up, I’ve made new friends and I never feel alone out there in the world as there is no shortage of players to do elite quests or a dungeon.
I am sincerely beginning to wonder whether I am playing the same game with the whiny forumites and whether I am playing the game wrong somehow because I don’t seem to experience or see any of what the whiny forumites do.
ADDENDUM:
I might add that being a completely new player in a completely new server and knowing absolutely no people at all, a few /y at Orgirmmar were enough to:
1.Get me 1 10-slot bag.
2. Get me 3 6-slot bags and 1 8-slot bags.
3. Finally, a polite Troll Shaman, whom I did not know beforehand, bought me a full set (4 ) mageweave bags basically solving my bag issues until level 40 or so.
To top it all off, a polite bank alt named Tourtbank donated to me a Taran Icebreaker (epic level 47 mace) to use when i would become level 47.
All the above happened in a game that’s supposedly dead out of what Retailers consider to be the “worst and most toxic community in gaming history”.
Since this post, I have met great ppl, some from my own country no less, cracked jokes and I have had many pplo helping me with craftable items, ppl I did not know at all.
One even donated gold to me without me even asking.
I think that the WoW Classic community is one of the best gaming communities out there.
