Jail in WoW?

In FF14 if you do something bad even saying something inappropriate your character gets put in jail.

Would you go for this kind of system here?

nope, awful system, punishment for saying things shouldn’t exist, block/ignore button exists for a reason

Jailer would be very happy.

Verbal abuse = Torghast layer 1
Sexual harassment = Torghast layer 2
…
Corps camping = layer 18
…
Bots and boosters = Endless corridors.

Torghast will be full of bots, hackers and Goldshire dancers.

Ignore is a thing. If I get to say something somewhere somebody doesn’t like and I get in such “jail” I will be unsubbing immediately and demand refund for the game restricting me gaming on it. And if I would be denied a refund, my bank could easily charge-back my purchase and I would not care for any bans or anything, cause screw games that cater to fefe-s before hard cash.

It’s a stupid system. Temporary ban is ok, but having to stay afk in game is total nonsense.

We had such a thing once. On “GM Island”. It was used as an interrogation/prison room.

Who will then play this game when all wow players will be in jail? :smiley: cause i don’t believe that there like angels and beautiful souls and on the other hand toxic and bad people

That’d be a bad system. Because it would certainly depend on bots, which can lead into some weird situations, more esp in goldshire.

Also, we do have block list and ignore alongside add-ons helping us to ignore players we don’t wanna interact with. There is no need for such bad system.

Log into a game to serve out a sentence?

I’m struggling to come up with anything more idiotic, and I read a lot of threads here so I know dumb when I see it.

Yes you could log in but you couldn’t do anything but walk around the cell

You can log out but each time you relog you are in prison until your time is up
