Hey there people of the forums and hopefully blizzard staff 
I have a bug Regarding the trashmasters mantle.
You are supposed to go to jani in voldun for alliance wear the cape and when you talk to her you should get a quest “I am the trashmaster”
But I do not get this quest it does not even show up i only get the option “release me”
I have looked it up at internet and done the starting quest and even the achievment
“get hek’d” and still i do not get the quest I am the trashmaster to show up.
I believe this is a bug I have already made a support ticket they told me i should bring it to the right team and report it as a bug which brings me here… please fast forward this to the bug team so this can get fixed.
Bugs are reported in game.
- Press Esc or click the ? button to open the menu.
- Click Support.
- Click Submit feedback or bug report.
- Enter the details of the bug into the Submit a bug description box, making sure to follow the guidelines outlined on the submission form.
- Click Submit.
The US forum does have a bug report forum but you would need to jump through several hoops to be able to post there. Set up a starter account on your existing battle net for the US region and level a character to 10. Your sub on your EU account will cover your posting rights on the US forum.

I know you said you’d searched for answers, one suggestion was that you need to complete the introduction quests for Jani to give you this quest. Must complete [Pests] and [Curse of Jani]. I thought it might be worth mentioning, just in case.

If you got the cloak from M+ or the vault after August 9th, this isn’t a bug.
Trashmaster’s Mantle received from Mythic+ or the Great Vault can no longer be used to complete the “I Am the Trashmaster” quest.
Developers’ note: Players hoping to become the Trashmaster may do so by finding a Trashmaster’s Mantle in Operation: Mechagon on standard Mythic difficulty. Players who have received a Trashmaster’s Mantle from Mythic+ since the start of Season 4 may still use it to complete the quest, but should be aware that the Richly Appointed Drape quest reward will be awarded at item level 78.
Thanks for this but if i read the devolpers note right i should still be able to turn it in… i only get a cape of ilvl 78 for it.
No, that’s only for drops received before the hotfix on August 9th.
