Wish him the best in the future. Eventually all the veterans will quit, but it’s sad to see them all go - with Jeff being the latest.

I’ve met him once. He’s a great guy.

I mean, I didn’t actually meet him, but I’m sure he’s a great guy.

Keep telling yourself how veterans quit becouse of 20+y in company or w/e. Its pretty clear he and all others quit Blizzard becouse they dont like direction of company what is directed by activion greed. In before hired by Dreamhaven.

I met him too great guy, he said I was great too and I believe him

He didn’t state anything in his farewell message, my guess is that it’s either:

  1. something personal came up
  2. jaded from Blizzard over the years as the company changed

Would be a match made in Heaven.

Honestly, Blizzard can’t be saved anymore at this point. Everyone we know is leaving and there has to be a reason other than the stuff they say in the media.

My bet is that he got fed up with company. Im really curious what he will be doing now. Wouldn’t be surprised if he really was hired by dreamhaven.

3 senior devs all leaving within the past 2 weeks.

this is not a good sign, clearly something is wrong with the workplace at blizzard.

sad to see him go, wish him all the best

I want to believe that it was becuase after 20 years he was tired of big company and he wanted to do something smaller and more personal like chris metzen

BUT i do not believe that because there is so many old school personas leaving blizzard and joining dreamhaven that something is wrong :smiley:

Smart man, jump ship before rehashed OW aka OW2 launches and people hate it. Nobody wants to be the face of a failed project.

Ive been playing wow since wrath. I uninstalled the game for the 1st time in ~12 years. I use to view these kind of posts as “heretical” but lately they start to make sense.
