Join us in London for the 30th Anniversary Event—22 February!

I had the tickets in my basket literally as the clock turned 3:00 and they showed available. within 5 seconds as I go to checkout it says ‘failed’ because they’re sold out… Unbelievable. Something isn’t right here!

Bots and scalpers, no different to the 5090 and 5080 launch, or the 4090 and 3090 launches, really.

I really don’t get why they don’t sell the tickets through the forum. That way those with legit account can get and you know it’s one person per ticket.

Another option is to email invite those of the region or country invites. Which can be released generally in 5 days if no response.

Took make it fairer they can hold x amount of spaces for locals and y for everyone. Then after a set time release the unclaimed local ones internationally.

Something, anything to allow REAL people to have a chance to actually go. Otherwise it feels like a farce and gimmick.

What about doing it how they do beta invites even?

The simple solution to this is the same one they should use with the GPUs, on launch day, instead of putting them online where a script will take them in seconds, issue the sales through phone support.

If people are willing to phone up, wait 5-10 minutes, and then answer a bunch of security questions about how they are / were wow players to get their ticket emailed to them, they aren’t ticket touts.

So resellers grabbed in a bulk.

I can’t believe I skipped university class and spent a whole hour of my life waiting for free tickets which i cant even get because there are bots who operate faster than the speed of light. I was there at 15:00GMT I had 2 tickets in my cart but the moment i clicked checkout they were already sold out?! How can the ticket hosting website not even have bot verification? I can’t even go to a World of Warcraft event where I live because Blizzard can’t even put procedures in place to prevent bots from raking in all the tickets. This situation is honestly unbelievable because i can’t even find resellers either. I don’t know what to do guys. Can anyone help me?

The Artwork is amazing.

Anduin looks like a female there, maybe this character would be more liked if he would be woman. :face_with_peeking_eye: (Female since the start and not changing gender afterwards)

I hope everyone going has an amazing times, tickets sold out super fast.

Managed to get tickets into my basket, but they sold out before I could secure them—still exactly 3:00 PM. Less than 60 seconds to a sell-out means bots, as usual.

I remember getting tickets for the anniversary event in London 10 years ago, and it was much simpler back then. Has anyone had any luck this time? Also, does anyone know where these scalped tickets are even being resold (if at all)?

Same situation for me. I had logged in and made an account and counted down until exactly 3pm. I could add 2 tickets to my basket and went to check out. was probably 15 seconds past 3pm at this point. And was unable to checkout tickets as they had all gone / sold out.

I’m devastated, really frustrated and annoyed. And I can’t even find where any botted or scalped tickets are being resold at all. I don’t know what I could have done differently to secure tickets next time.

I thought it was Ebyssian. But that’s probably wrong.

I hope everyone with a ticket will be able to come in… I really do.

They were gone in 60 seconds for me

They were gone in way less than that. I had two tickets in my cart by 3 SECONDS past 3pm, and when I hit checkout I got hit with “no tickets available”. I don’t understand how any human could have been faster than that. Haven’t seen a single real person say they got tickets yet either.

I could not even find any prices for these tickets through these links before hand so I guess it doesnt matter how much it costs aslong manage purchase it in time. Even festivals announce the price of the event before one goes purchase it but I guess if it doesnt matter to ppl how much something costs then its alright I guess :dracthyr_shrug:

If anyone managed to get a ticket could they please post a reply here?

Just feel there’s something fishy going on.

It’s a shame as we don’t get any official WoW events in Europe that often.

Tickets are Free

The announcement is as vague as m+ bans for leaving. This is forum the most important parts should be informed with the post. Anyways, wouldnt had mattered in any case if the tickets just get depleted in 4 seconds from the page.
