I got invited to the guild.
Never applied for it.
And I never asked for anything when I joined the guild.
They started to say about the M+ so I said why not if they wanna (boost) me.
And maybe even be a part of their raiding team.
And what happend once you told them you don’t use the addon?
Guilds can set whatever requirements they wish, you either agree to their rules or you find somewhere else.
Some guilds are more relaxed with what they require and others are more rigid.
If you have that big an aversion to an addon then don’t use it and don’t join that guild. Find somewhere that does suit you. It’s also worth bearing in mind you appear with a score on raider io whether you have the addon or not. To opt out you have to register on raider.io, claim your characters and opt them out of the data.

Raider IO is for pve heroes that pretend to be competitive and needed a rating to show of their “xp” like PvP players. Pathetic
That one really needs to be said more I feel he or she found a rigid requirement guild

Its just a tool that harms nobody in my view you dont need it and nobody can force you to use it . There is alot of communitys out there for social keys and pushing keys there is plenty of people who dont use it .
I dont understand why in every thread you post you have to be so angry and toxic just leave the angst out of it .
OP sounds like you need to speak to runs the guild and have a chat and see whats going on and go from there.
Blizzard are bringing in there own version of RIO soon so people just need to accept it or move on .

I think the addon isn’t the problem, the problem is how people use it, asking for X score for a low key sounds silly to me; we could say don’t blame the system, blame the people.
I find rIO pretty useful and convenient, I help you to choose experience people without having to check their armory and logs (you can check their runs of course) but if you don’t like it then nobody can force you to use it.
In my opinion if you don’t like the requirements of that guild you should try to find another one.

Since when pvp requires skills?
Unless you play DH, to hit r1, yes even in BFA, it requires skill. Stop being delusional. I’m of course not talking about casual, trash lvl pvp

I have never saw xaryu or venruki getting a world first instead.
We have two multy glad even in mine guild and we have not finished EP myth

Can you keep on topic and try and be less hostile . Thread is about OP his/hers guild and RIO and not about you and your anger issues to others over pvp/pve.

I said before in mine guild we have 2 glad players, but we ended EP only at 5/8 myth
Glad is 2.4k in bfa buddy. and 2 players in a whole raid isn’t gonna change anything if the rest is trash
It is derailing the topic with this pvp vs pve. Maybe make another for continuing the discussion. This does not help or answer the OP at all.
