Hi, I wanna ask how is possible that some players have Journeyman Riding (riding 150/100% speed) before level 40.
Yes I am not on retail, yes I am on wotlk. No its not only store mounts.
If you will take your prefered mount and go to leveling zones , you will see alts of all levels under 40, riding 100% mount.
When I whisper few randosm, they didnt even know, and confirmed to me they have 150 riding skill. Others act like **** and told me that he had riding from level 14 and he will not tell me how he get it…

No, the mount speed is dependent on your skill. So unless they changed it so you can have the skill before 40 you wont see 100% mounts on lower level. The skins for the mounts can be used on earlier levels but the actual speed of the mount will not be 100%.

Yes mounts speed is depend on your riding skill… I asked people what I met, 28,31 and 33, to open Character pannel and check in skills if they have 75 on riding… They said “NO, I HAVE 150, AND I DONT REMEMBER TO BUY IT”
And yes they had 100% speed, we was in group together and I was on my 60% mount while they was on 100% one, significantly faster…
But nice try bozo… Make yourself a favor… and go to exping zones and check for yourself…

All mount scale with riding skill now, so you can see people riding all kinds of mounts as soon as they can learn to ride.
They will however not run faster than their riding skill allows. So at below lvl 40 all mounts are 60%

THIS IS REASON WHY I WHISPER THESE PEOPLE AND ASK TO OPEN CHARACTER PANEL… CHECK SKILL TAB AND SAY TO ME NUMBER UNDER RIDING… IT WAS 150…

People are responding to you in a helpful way, but you are describing something that would seem to be impossible. It would be interesting to investigate if this somehow could actually happen with riding as you say, but your attitude does not leave much room for discussion.

Like I said in my last comment that “helpful way” is just chatGPT rewrite of Blizzard FAQ on Learning riding.
But is true that I could add I dont think this is normal. And something like this should be impossible, but is not. And if someone know how to replicate this bug/trick…
Even if it were a bug or such, it would not be recommended to replicate it, that kind of thing can be very frowned upon by Blizzard. I’ts best that our lowbies stay content to clopeti-clop along until we can get to 40.
