Expect it for around end june or early july
so in mop? im expecting a mop realse around second week for july, so kinda weird time, then. aint no way its a august release
iirc xp buff was not up for cata prepatch so idk wtf theyre doing considering ds 30% debuff will hit end of may
You are right.
Most likely we are getting JJ around the time we get the 30% buff, without announcement. When prepatch hits, it gets removed again but then you don’t really need it because MoP massively reduced XP required from Vanilla-Cata, especially Cata.

It’s not true. There is no xp reduction for level 1-85 added in prepatch. Characters do get stronger though
Hello, the experience got a massive nerf in 5.0. You might not remember it.
For example, currently 84->85 requires 9.16m xp. In MoP 5.0 it requires 4.58m xp. Generally, they nerfed 1-40 by 20%, and 81-85 by 50%.
Later in 5.3 they then nerfed MoP 85-90 by 33%.

Feels like Cata’s mostly been forgotten, they shoulda had Joyous Journeys in the game since DS launch and had it stick around forever imo.
I think we would get as much as 2 weeks of DS 30% nerf before they consider turning JJ on, so my prediction for it is mid June.
I will activate the JJ Buff tonight at midnight (server time).

Dataminers got JJ start date right and found out that buff stays untill 21 of July. With fast and “undercooked” progress of beta testing this seems to be MoP launch eve and not just a prepatch, according to some streamers speculation. So JJ will be present in prepatch as well.
If that were the case we’d have a date by now and pre patch would be out. It’ll prob be mid august
