Joyous Journeys – Summer XP Buff Event

You can most likely disable the XP buff at an innkeeper if you’d like

It’s THERE people, log in with a low level alt!

Make alts on the other faction monofaction realms and make world pvp great again !

No you can’t

Only one thing to do, never log out at an inn.

I can disable it at my innkeeper in Stormwind, buff stays but is reduced to 0%, it might be restricted to capital cities’ innkeeper maybe?

Only in capitals, maybe, Stormwind confirmed THANKS!

Blue says: "Players can also visit any innkeeper in a capital city to turn the experience buff off or on. "
Yay!

Everybody gets one buddy (not “one” cancel, to not be confusing, but one favour from Blizzard) ^^

EDIT: Does anybody know if this is capped at 100% (with Rested XP) or if it adds up on top of it?

level 70 have no buff, and I just saw the innkeeper in SW beleaguered, not everyone seems to like Blizz’s gift.
I wonder if you can see that it is disabled?

for the last, go shoot some mob and look in your log

It just shows the rested bonus, however I don’t know if the “base” XP shown is 50% higher or not. Well, I’ll find out sooner or later I guess.

OK,I am going to disable the buff anyway, I give you the numbers you do the math OK?
I killed one level 48 Redstone Basilisk.

Here first:
672 (+336 Rested) with the buff

448 (+224 Rested) without the buff

so the buff applies to the base XP gain and the rested bonus is half that as normal … am I rigth?

It would seem so. Many thanks!

The launcher also has the date of 26th September for WotlK.

I think it’s every innkeeper as I can disable it in Duskwood.

You get 3 times the XP with rested and the buff than you would without the buff and rested XP. 672/224=3.

not every innkeeperat least. I tried Tauren @ Bloodhoof Village no go, and the blue post says: “Players can also visit any innkeeper in a capital city to turn the experience buff off or on.”
So why Duskwood? Just a fluke?

Tranquillen also has it.

Standard Blizz says one thing, does something else.

Isn’t it level 10 and above though?

Edit: No it isn’t I can get it on a level 9.

I could disble the buff for a level 1 in SW, so no.

Durotar Innkeeper didn’t have that option.
Innkeeper in Orgrimmar worked though. So thanks for the tip!

I can’t get it at some locations, I think some of the first inns you go to don’t have the switch, falconwing square doesn’t
