what is this “pvpers against pveers” nonsense?
Pveers have been spoiled by blizzard since forever.
Pvpers had to do pve endgame content to be viable in pvp.
They still do cause of timegated pvp gear.
And its not that black/white. Most pvpers pve aswell. (not counting those pure pvpers forced to pve) and many pveers pvp aswell.
No, im not the typical fotm-reroller-knucklehead. i stick with my specs, but dk state of pvp has gone to extreme levels.
im not sad i cant faceroll anything - im sad that fotm-rerollers can steamrolled my spec in arena, not because they are good and dk-players are bad. but because their classes are fubar broken and dk is fubar horrible.
balance will come, and all the rets, armswarrior, spriests, fmages, wwmonks, boomies and more will riot the forums when they are not allowed to oneshot freepass their way up in rating any longer.
but thats my point. it has always been like this for X spec in the game. Do you think Ion will wake up tomorrow - open this forum and be like
“holy fk we need to buff UHDks” after readin this forum which he most likely wont?
so he rushes to the office and be like
“Yo guys we gotta buff UHDks cuz I read on EU forums they are bad”
like its a dream scenario. Maybe we will get some class/balancing tuning soon and if UHdks dont get any buffs then you shouldnt expect any until the next major patch. Its always been like that. Honestly just spec frost and stop being frustrated over unholy…
secondly (and obv i cant confirm this) but apparently there is a secret forum for the top players in the game which share their feedback with the devs. i doubt they come here for valuable feedback tbh
I’ve been destroying on my Unholy DK. Even considering rerolling DK as my permanent main.

where and at what rating have you been destroying? winrate?
take a look at class/spec representation in rated pvp bro.
They dont need to read forums to see that certain specs are useless in pvp.
They just need to look at the game. They can start with statistics and numbers: Class representation in rated pvp.
Then they can ask themselves: “Why is it like this?”
Then they can look at certain specs being broken and beyond broken in the pvp scene atm.
I take for granted that the people responsible for balancing pvp actually have knowledge of the game and of pvp.
So i do believe changes will come, yes.
My only fear is that blizz will choose the laziest option, being the one that creates less complaining and screaming - And that fotm-players now are a majority that will make a lot of noise when/if nerfed, and even when/if weak specs gets buffed so they are not that easily killed any longer.
The problem is that dk as a whole is trash in pvp. Frost is a little bit better then unholy, but its still trash. im also a far better uh player vs frost player. having pvped with unholy since wotlk. but if they buffed frost to a viable state in pvp, id do it.
Now it does not matter if you are frost or unholy or blood for that matter. Enemy team sees: DK. Enemy team says: Focus Dk. Enemy team focuses dk. Enemy team kills dk.
I mean if you have played the game for so long then you should know that some specs / classes are left in a terrible state for months / entire expansion. Just reroll and have fun.
I mean I dont think anyone should reroll unless they are aiming for 2200+. Anything below that rating any spec can achieve… yes some easier than others but its possible.

imagine if you were forced to do arena to get gear to be able to do pve…
If this was mainly a PVP game, with some PVE side content, I would see that as reasonable…However, WoW is a mainly PVE game, if its main focus was PVP, I’m fairly sure subs would drop off a cliff.
Lets not forget to mention that the current rank 1 on the US ladder is being held my a dk

That would also be unfair, but unfair toward a greater amount of people.
Blizzard caters to the vast majority, and the vast majority are PvEers.
During BfA, more than any other expansion I’ve seen, I got the impression that the only reason for PvP to exist was so that PvEers could blow off some steam and show off their gear by stomping the plebs who did RBGs as their main activity, a fun little side thing while waiting for raids to reset.
If the tables were turned, the outrage would be absolutely cataclysmic. There are already people raising absolute hell because there’s one PvP trinket that’s BiS for certain specs.
In Blizzard’s mind it’s okay that things are unfair, as long as they’re unfair towards the minority that they can afford to lose.
HOWEVER. I will give them this: SL is taking steps in the right direction.
I’d like to see a lot more, it’s still not on an acceptable level imo, but it’s heading towards something brighter.

Yes mes is r1 on us ladder the dude is literally blizzcon champion playing with other blizzcon champions. Ofc hes able to reach rank1 on the ladder doesnt mean that the class is in a good state at the moment. There is mw rank 87 on the us ladder doesnt mean that mw is in a good state at the moment.
Hmmm… try being in the Maw, with War Mode on, when the Server balance is heavily in favour of the Opposite Faction, then get back to us, God of Pwnage.
There are limits to how far PVP skillz will carry you, outside of a carefully curated Arena or BG Team…a lot of wPVP is mass ganking.
So bring back pvp resilience. They also do separate balancing for pvp already. AWC is also their main esport so they should give more love to the pvp community.
Its ridiculous that pvp should be considered something for pve players to blow some steam off on when there is more money in pvp from blizzard than any other aspect of the game.
Yet they focus more on how they can minimize wfr gear in the first weeks than pvp balance and dont even support world first race apart from few tweets.
SL saw some steps in the right direction that i can agree with but its only a start for healthy competitive pvp in the game.

Been saying this in pretty much every thread complaining about SL PvP and I still think it stands true:
They just need to bring back the MoP PvP system.
Sure it won’t be as good as it was in MoP (because Blizzard have sadly dropped the “if everyone is OP no one is” mentality) but it would be a huge step in the right direction.
Everything has a limit, but I can 1v3 on open world and there are probably other PvP players like me.
Go take a look around entrance of Seat of Primus, it is full of Orc, Troll and Tauren skeleton 
Btw, I’ve never seen raids in the Maw, it is always a few people, what kind of shards you people have I have no idea…
