Im just playing around on different toons to get a feel for their strengths and weaknesses. Best way to learn how to counter a class is to play it and see how others clap you. lol
So anyway, I made a macro for my sigils…
#showtooltip
/cast [mod:alt, @cursor] Sigil of Flame
/cast [@player] Sigil of Flame
It makes it so if you just press the button sigil is cast on your location, and if you press alt+button its cast wherever you have your mouse cursor at the moment. It saves you from having to aim the circle on the floor and then click again.
But here is the cool thing I found out:
If you have the talent “precise sigils”, which makes your sigils be cast on your target rather than you having to aim them with the floor circle, the macro above changes. If you just press the macro, it still casts sigils on you. But if you alt+click the macro, it casts the sigils on your target.
I thought that was pretty neat. Just wanted to share.
Edit: Now that I think about it, this macro is almost a cheat… lol… the other option in the choice node with precise sigils makes it so the sigils are always cast on your character. So this macro essentially lets you have both choices from that node…
