Just give us WM with 30% passive buff

When 8.1 came out and alliance got 30% buff, it was great as it felt right to switch pvp on as it defined high risk high reward. But the buff been going down every week until it hit 15% for few weeks which was horrible because there was no difference between the 10% and 15% as it was barely noticeable.

So, Blizzard make the damn WM gives 30% to BOTH factions so more people can start playing with pvp on, give both factions the weekly quest with an item lvl 390+ as a reward which requires killing 100 players of the opposite faction as this is a weekly quest not a daily quest. For the love of god make the buff ALSO count towards the reputation from completing wqs, wq reward that gives 100 rep and from completing emissaries too as this will make it more interesting and gives even a more reason for people to switch WM on. Many of us are sick and tired of just getting 168 artefact power where as we need freaking 80k+ per level once we hit neckless level 40, I would rather get 218 ap than 168.

If this isn’t fair and some people will start or still moan, well that’s their loose because they will never stop complaining about anything. If horde starts to dominate again like it did in early expansion all the way to 8.1 then that’s alliance fault for not switch WM and fighting them.

This is the only way to make WM useful and slowly balance it.

If the horde gets the 30% buff wpvp will be overrun by them and the forums will be flooded by our qq messages.

Just remove all incentives. People that loves wpvp will enable it despite of free gear or insane buffs.

To be fair, I agree. There’d be a lot of tears, but I don’t agree with removing all incentives. Maybe more doable incentives are needed?

Contested take-and-hold objectives like Outland towers. Across Azeroth.

Fewer PvE Rewards and more PvP rewards. PvP currency for vendors?

Fewer incentives that only promote short periods of turning it on per week.

The Outnumbered Bonus should be based on Zone/Area/Shard population. Stops Alliance getting 30% bonus when there is no Horde about or when Alliance outnumber the Horde. Essentially stopping this stupid buff coming into effect when being “outnumbered” has no affect at all.

This effect should then flip if the other faction becomes outnumbered in the Area. Buff intensity would then increase with outnumbered ratio against you.

25-Kill quests should be available to both sides but only completable while outnumbered.

LFG can still be used, but that would then run the risk of giving the opposing faction the buff instead.

Situation is, blizz want to balance factions region wide. This is to allow them to more easily distribute players on wm shards, reducing the need for overflow shards. If a solution would not achieve that, blizz won’t do it. Whether you think it matters or not, the goal is region faction balance.

I assume they went through a bunch of options, and realized the solution we have has the most potential to achieve the goal, or at least lessen the overflow shard issue to an acceptable level. They have all the data, they know what’s what. They might even have run simulations of the effects, that would be cool.

It’s in progress, but either way it makes wm more interesting. Some controversy was presumably anticipated, and even hoped for! Resentment, bitterness, a nice reason to wpvp, that is more than just pixels, CONFLICT!
