Spells and abilities have been heavily pruned… Unless you’re saying you actually can’t find them in which case they’re in the spell/ability book on your micro menu.
Class balance is as borked as it’s always been.
Mob scaling is awful.
The GDC has changed so everything feels much slower.
On the plus side. DK’s are no longer super OP. Thrall is no longer the main character of an MMO and end game content has never been more accessible.
Sadly the Priest discord has closed. But I found this post on it.
We here at Netherlight Temple would to thank everyone who has made this community over the past two years. Especially our high priests and major community contributors.
This server has gotten more and more quiet over the past little while, and we’ve decided that the best thing to do is to decommission the server.
There are many great resources for priests in the WoW community, and we highly suggest giving Focused Will, Wowhead, Jak’s website/discord, bloodmallet and Warcraft Priests (formerly how 2 priest) a looksee.
TempleBot has faithfully served two large discord servers, several guilds, and a few personal servers, but it is also time for TempleBot to be decommissioned as well.
At the time TempleBot was created, raidbots was not a thing (especially not via a discord bot). But now there it is there as an alternative. TempleBot was always open source, anyone wanting to check out a bit of the “magic” behind it can see it at: https://github.com/gitket/TempleBot
We will leave the existing channels open for 2 weeks before closing down (similar to the Mardum closedown).
If it seems like it is requested, we may leave a single chat channel open for general discussion and chatting.
Once again, thank you everyone for being part of this community. Best of luck in BFA.
Level up character, queue for LFR to see whole content.
For PvP you have to roll the right class and right faction ofc. Because everybody wants to be on the winning side. Winning is not frustrating, losing is. Fun has been purged.
Welcome back! Might be easier to give better reply if you would tell when you last time played, cause in last few years there has been some big changes. But i can try:
Leveling was changed. World scales now: 1-60 vanilla areas, 60-80 TBC and WOTK (you can do which ever you want of jump between them), 80-90 Cata and Pandaria areas, 90-98/100 WOD (you can start Legion on 98 i think), 100-110 Legion and then we get to current BFA 110-120. Look at the top number as where mobs stop scaling, for example 1-60 means that mobs will be scaling with you lvl untill you are 60 and then they stop.
When you reach 120 mobs start to scale based on your ilvl.
No more pvp servers, instead there is warmode (often referred as WM). You can turn warmode on in capital cities and then you will be phased in with other players who have it on. You can turn it off in rested places like Inns. There is bonus xp% to be gained when you play in warmode plus extra spells you can use.
Your spells that disappeared… Some of them are removed (sniff ) some of those are available if you turn WM on.
Oh god , people like you should just get off the forum.
Lets talk about thinking , think to yourself, did you help me now? Wil your next post help me?
If the answer is no , then stop talking
If you look at top-end stuff, class balance is actually quite good. Most classes and speccs are viable both in PvP and PvE.
We have had a pruning of spells and abilities, but then again we have been provided with accessible content which actually requires you too use most of what you have got in your spellbook (M+).
