I rly dont understand how u meet those ppl
Never seen anything like that, honestly the only time when i met someone rly dumb was at exp start when i farmed Top second boss and some rogue(~210) whisped me that i left because i lost duel with him (my pal was 170ilvl back then with random crafting gear) and then instantly blocked me
Btw i never share items if:
-missing mog(im att collector)
-someone spam whisp me
-someone opens trade without asking
I would never ever call Assmongold a hardcore player, first and foremost.
Second, from personal experience toxicity tends to come from players who are good enough to clear heroic, but not good enough to get too far into mythic difficulty, though that should be obvious since that covers a much wider part of the playerbase.
Those who get near CE and CE tend to not pug that much, and they keep their opinion to themselves or their friends. Whenever I encountered someone who was vocal and extremely rude (during the time when I was still pugging on occasion) they were, more often than not, heroic/early mythic level players.
I think the word you were looking for isn’t hardcore, but tryhard instead.
I think that is due to them wanting it for transmog, and outside of a few specific trinkets Blizzard made even normal gear obsolete with Korthia. Normals drop 184 ilvl gear, while Korthia gives you 200 ilvl gear that you can upgrade as well. Most of these players are just there to do their callings.
The playerbase could do with a bit more empathy, all things considered, so you are right on that part.
I’m obviously not like the others in this thread
I am a kind person and I would happily have given my loot away to someone who could use it.
This is how we Danes are, we are probably just more friendly than everyone else
You chose a bad time to start playing WoW. I have been playing somce 2007, and I’ve never seen the game in a worse state than it is now. If I were you, I would cancel the subscription and try again with the next expansion. Shadowlands is not worth your time on my opinion.
I kinda do the same. Traded my first cube from DoS to a monk that had 11.5k overall damage, even though I needed it as well. Dude just made the run much smoother, he deserved it more.
Would disagree. +14 upwards is where the toxic fun really begins in pugs because mechanics and dps start to matter more. Some lose their manners on the way to the top due to being solemnly focused on improving their rio to get even higher than +15. Others get arrogant due to making more dps than others and set it a standard for judging people. And some might hate me for it but I think the tone among many PvPers in particular is a tad rougher in general, so when they’re out farming M+ gear, they mistake the dungeon group for a battle field or arena match…
Did you saw how much leggos cost?
For me, who play on 5-6 alts, when i need at least a 2 leggos on each - it’s about 1kk of gold is needed to buy for each a legendary. Of course until this is done - all loot is needed to get gold asap.
And it’s not a 20-40g, if you run with 220+ - then the loot there is about 100-140g
Just play ff. gave it a try after couple of weeks watching my guild mates switching. It is really something new and you can see the devs put effort in it. Not sure if I switch completely but for SL I only log in to raid as I don’t see me running m+ ever again this season
this is why i dont do dungens , raids or M+ becourse i dont want to be abjused …
Solo content is best becourse there u cant be abjused or harrahmed …
this also why you do p2w so u dont have to team up with some other peoples …
Yep, like many others dungeons arent worth the hassle to me so i dont do them besides a few quests there which everytime have been a disaster, due things mentioned above like, toxicity, leaving, kicking and general hate towards new players who dont know the dungeon. WoW is a major failure and over the years just seems to emphasize the needs of the elite jerks who’s only in it fir their own loot needs so they can sit around on ugly bought or farmed mounts showing off. Nope, sadly, solo play for me too. Gave it a shot, many times.
