I had been killing the rares Hirukon, Gluttonous overgrowth and Engulfer on several characters for several days and they persistently refuse to drop their lovely swords.
I managed to get the red one from Xy’rath but the rest seem to never drop for anyone.
It is particularly annoying to farm Hirukon between the wait for someone with a lure and the “fake” groups (I consider fishing goop groups that say the name of the rare as fake)

It seems I need to put cypher points into “Asjon Understanding”
Hirukon was 2nd kill,
Engulfer was 1st kill,
Xy’rath was maybe 10th kill (took abit longer), but I’ve had his toy drop twice.
Didn’t realise that Gluttonous Overgrowth dropped one. Is it the green one which was labelled World Drop? Have they even fixed this rare yet?
Everyone will tell you that someone strong in the Force will never drop their lightsaber for a mere Maw Walker…

It usually spawns properly.
I am not tracking the kills but I got the Xyrath one on the first kill and the other ones have been killed at least 6-7 times each combined by my warrior and my rogue
Ah that’s good to know. I have only managed to kill Gluttonous Overgrowth once. Every other time its been bugged, but I haven’t tried since the first week.
The green one is the only one left that I need to get.
I’m not tracking either. But all I remember is that the only one I felt I needed to work for was Xy’raths, and that was probably no more than 10 tries.
The one that is annoying for me is Hirukon because of the prerequisites to make it attackable.
Yeh, I fished it up myself once. But after that, I couldn’t get any new Lures, even Lady Vashj tells me to comeback if I need another one.
I was just lucky and was going past when someone else was fishing it up.
Still to get the red one 
I got the lure on my hunter and got the mount.
I am pondering if it is worth to buy the goop from others to attempt on my warrior in case I get a better drop rate for the sword as well.
The goop used to sell for 600k , now I see it as low as 80k
I get super frustrated when some people host a group about Hirukon without anyone having a lure.
Even if one fishes the goop, it takes over 30 min to get all the materials for the lure, so these groups are as pointless as it gets unless someone wants to see many people fishing
It depends how much you value the sword transmog.
Personally, I would just keep an eye on LFG Custom for Hirukon groups. There is usually one up or waiting.
From personal experience, I got the Yellow, Red and Blue ones in the first 5-6 days of launch, but given I didnt kill all the rares that drop them daily, as the have a rotation, probably 25-30% .
I have taken a habit to putting the leaders of the “waiting” groups to ignore to avoid seeing their groups. They really do not make anything easier for anyone
I’ve gotten 3/4 (just missing green). Best advice I can give is if you have alts just park them near the rare u need drop from. Then log in once a day and use group finder for a quick kill. You can get the sword on any class that is able to use 1h sword. I got the red one on my warlock.
Idk, I got 2 of them on first kills of the rares.
I am in the process of finally leveling the rest of my classes to 60, I plan to prioritize those who can hold a sword. Then when the sword afair is over I will make them into night fae command table drones
I have the yellow and blue ones. They don’t appear to be rare.
I have 2 of the lightsabers from just killing stuff that popped while I was doing dailies or world quests so I’m either lucky or they drop often.
I’ve still got the Red one to get and he’s the worst because he’s up the least. I can’t even use them for transmog as they are all one handers 
Xy-rath has given me the toy three times instead of a nice red sabre. He is clearly evil!
