I’m too lazy to change the face but here you go. They’re pretty much the same person anyway.

Deep down, we all enjoy it

I’ve only recently discovered the joy of putting artichoke on pizza.

I had a sweet chilli chicken pizza. Was pretty banging

Funnily enough, I had pizza too.

We tried to get him to own up for his bs. Or to help him realize how bad he is.

We failed.

I discovered this character recently and I can’t stop laughing

It nails every race realist trope and takes the mick out of it perfectly

(Super recommend the game itself, great investigative RPG)

I did say earlier in the thread, it is good to remind people so he can’t slink back in like; “I did nothing wrong” a lot later.

There are some people who will admit fault, acknowledge that they were wrong/uninformed on some level, but will come back and double down on their original position the very next day. It’s extremely predictable and honestly quite common.

Sig, this post was made hours ago now and it was so disingenuous it’s an outright lie and you know it. You keep shouting “THEY WANT TO BEAT WOMEN SO THEY GOT INTO MMA RIGHT AFTER TRANSITIONING” when in the history of MMA there has only ever been two transwomen competing in the sport. Both of whom were active participants in several sports for most of their entire lives. They didn’t transition to beat up women, they didn’t one day just go “I want to beat women, so I’ll become an MMA fighter!”, they’ve been interested in the sport for years. And you have been told this countless time.

That alone is incredibly transphobic, but you make it so much worse by consistently referring to them as ‘biological males’.

Sig is just one of those transphobes (or bigots in general), who in face of science, logics, and facts still goes ‘well, my opinion!!!’

Which is highly funny considering how the generally bigoted people froth at the mouth over facts and logic.

I think the difference between him and other posters who have espoused transphobic sentiments in the past is that he doesn’t view himself as transphobic.

Others are more conscious about it – it becomes a badge of pride, that they’re so obviously right that trans people are sick or worse. In his case, he doesn’t consciously hate trans people, he thinks they deserve rights, and consequently becomes very heated when called out about his problematic opinions.

What he doesn’t realise is that you don’t have to be actively hateful to enable hateful people and rhetoric. He buys into malicious, false narratives, and lashes out when he’s backed into a corner about them. It’s easier if he can rewrite the narrative to make it seem as though everyone else is the problem.

Of course, this is a pretty charitable take on it, and I could be wrong. He could know exactly what he says and what he suggests.

True, there’s those kinds of bigots. In those groups there’s also people who’re simply evil even if the somehow logically know that trans people aren’t and still do, because they’re hateful people.

But unfortunately bigots come in all shapes, and he’s more like a TERF. Still a bigot, but self-righteously justifies transphobia under the ‘i care about women!!’ umbrella which immediately is let go and weaponised when people also point out the misogyny. Rewording transphobia to make it more palatable to the ignorant is hopefully the trap he’s fallen into, but unfortunately he continues that wheel of TERF-bigotry.

Lashing out over being proven wrong speaks to some deeper level of bigotry that stems from what he thinks. This leads to what he’s saying and doubling down on, and I hope it won’t lead to actions, however direct they may be.

If any form of trans people in sports came up for a vote in where he lives, I don’t think he’ll be on the trans side. Will being called out on this shove him further into the transphobia? Hope not, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

i have many questions about whats going on in here but this is my most pressing. wtf??

while ireland is a very progressively lgbt friendly country thesedays, my town small as it is had a lovely and thankfully harrasment free pride festival this year, in regards to transgender issues, especially those about sport, the population is increasingly ignorant, either willfully so or just lack of proper information on the subject and its depressing to see. sig’s mentality is anything but unheard of here and i can safely say it most likely will not change. we may accept that womens bodies are their right. we may accept that it is the right of every gay/lesbian couple that they can be married legally in the eyes of state and god, as it always should have been. but the issue of gender…thats an issue i hope will actually be educated on properly here in the next few decades because my heart bleeds for those transitioning here

It should be self-explanatory :smirk:
