Just like in real life, most of us can’t get onto the housing ladder!

Irl you can get any house, any plot of land you want

(for a gold fee)

Early access does not mean you need to do everything day 1.
Early access is actually going to be until march when Midnight launches.

No. That’s not how plots work.

Easy to say that when you have a house.

I’m not sure what your point is. That’s not even true and even if it was it has nothing to do with the game lol.

Two houses.
And guess what: Later on during the day, I decided I didn’t want the plot I was in after all and moved my home. Then even later I thought: Oh wait, I DO want it. And I moved back.

All without issue. Yes there was slow loading of neighbourhoods earlier in the day and I still managed these things. Don’t worry. If you want a plot, you can get that plot. The only exception (at the moment) where it might be an issue is for guild neighbourhoods.

That’s what it’s like when you get in early.

In IRL UK, lots of boomers still think a house still costs £10 and young people are just spending too much on coffee.

That said, I was too lazy to do the tutorial so I am WoW homeless.

It’ll be like that in a year’s time too (unless they completely change something in a way we can’t forsee at this moment). It really doesn’t matter if you’re getting a house now or in march or in june of 2027.

And like blizz said that neighbourhoods will be released in need I would understand that they are not unlimited resource. So later on once people start housing after games release its very much possible for them to not gain the spot they want.

People will be taking spots now with pre-orders from empty neighbourhoods, later it will be choise in what is left. Unless there would be some like 4 million neighbourhoods so each account would have possibility to get that exact one spot they want which is not how I understood from their announcements.

So either they make unlimited amount of neighbourhoods or there indeed will be limited amount of that specific spot one would want and people would need to do compromises if they cant get what they wanted.

I’m not going to do compromises on cosmetic feature that is suppose to be the epitome of casual fun and not part of any end game. Especially not going to pay anything for it.

Early access neighborhoods will be better for neighborhood endeavors later on, since you end up with a self selecting group of players that care more about the game. So it should be a significant advantage.

There is no advantage.

  • Endeavours scale with the amount of active players in a neighbourhood (and most of them are just you playing the game as you would anyway).
  • You can visit other neighbourhoods to use the endeavour NPC there to buy rewards your own neighbourhood might not have.
