Lets be honest, this is a dying game and fixed ratings are really bad and demotivating system.
Gladiator is absurdly hard to get this season because of how deflated season is. All you see are fotm R1 rerollers basically on any rating and it gets exhausting.
Me and buddies were just queueing some RMP on like 1k8 rating and I was literally rank 20 fire mage in eu.
How ridiculous is that me, playing casual games on dog rating, got among top 20 fire mages in eu.
This season feels kinda pointless and demotivating to play, something needs to change.
Sorta agree however i dont see 3v3 ever making a relevant comeback unless blizzard artificially revives it by sabotaging solo shuffle.
As much as some people seem to hate it solo shuffle is going to turn into the new main form of arena and a big reason for this is actually self inflicted by the PvP community due to how toxic and elitist its been for decades.
Suddenly blizzard released a gamemode that allows more casual players to play without going through a backround check n then have to sit on discord with the most unstable case of antisocial disorders recorded in modern history n hope he doesnt randomly snap and start screaming like a banshee.
If anything i´d say this just proves that people dont infact enjoy 3v3 arena but just played it for ego boost titles and achivements. 3v3 is still there for people who enjoy it to play, there just wont be any casual players looking to cap for the R1´s to farm with their coordinated discord team to inflate the rating.
