It doesn’t need nerfing it is week 1, we will stomp the lower levels in a few weeks. I found it a decent challenge but perfectly doable at round about ilvl 160.
Yeah i have no problem in trying again.
Best thing is the bonus that let you see who is holding an orb.
Guess some people are just not used to the gameplay. I am loving thorgast (and the expansion in general) so far.
I had no problems doing level 3 solo. Sure I turtled a bit during the lower floors. After I got to the boss, I just simply dealt with it. No issues there. I was at Ilvl 145.
This is a hard disagree on the OP. I did both my layers 3 on mage / demon hunter without any issue. Just took a little time to clear each layer fully to ensure I had all the anima powers / stygia to power up from the broker and to correctly play around my anima powers.
No.
This is a newly dinged rogue.
How have you not noticed other mobs in torghast have this buff? All the elites have it. It also gives them movement speed and when they reach 10 stacks, they become immune to CC.
Did it on my Disc Priest at 140 ilvl at the start of the week… E.Z.
Please don’t nerf! I’ve been waiting for something that can be both engaging and new, and also a challenge!
This is a great move!
(Just to note, I have rerun it to help guildies with it, I have killed Synod, Cellblock Sentinel, Gherus the Chained, Observer Zelgar, and Arch-Suppresor Laguas. The excuse that “its random and harder for some” is hardly valid).
Yes, some of the bosses need another tuning pass. People telling you they did it fine don’t seem to realize that it’s random in nature, their boss was probably one of the easier ones and you ran into one of the nasty ones. It does depend a great deal on which anima powers you are given as well, but with no way to tell who’s awaiting you at the end of the run, it can easily be an hour wasted and make you feel like it’s pointless.
I also feel Torghast needs to add some loot to incentivize it a bit more.
It was much more fun in beta, much easier at the lower levels.
I killed synod in a convoke channel. People are whining about him immensely in the torghast chat and how he’s impossible to beat. Even other druids.
I keep seeing these posts about how awful it is and I’m really confused. To me it feels like running old raids during BFA? I don’t have much challenge and I’m prot spec. I was convinced that I was doing “scenario” versions of it to prepare me for the regular version but apparently not?
Progress, get better, find ways, adapt, overcome, be stronger, get yourself into another level, improve → this is how you will beat torgast last boss.
Btw it’s easy as boomkin, you just cast regrowth out of shape form which heals for 40k life and go kill again
It doesn’t actually get difficult until you step into the twisting corridors.
simply this is multi player game not single player game … just get tank or healer or both and do it . and stop crying is to hard what u expect that u will be able to do it with no gear get gear and do it later
Havent had problems my self but i heard it can vary from class to class there also some rng, solo’d thorgast and capped my soul ash this week altho i play pet class, crowd control also works
Did this in 140 retri (which is my os) on the 3rd day after release.
Boi does it feel weird to heard something like that from a mage. My man who plays fire yday had a build with 4000% fireball damage from invisibility and 1750% first flamestrake. We made him stack armaments 5 times and he legit ONESHOT the boss in 140-ish ilvl
Actually, no, this was advertised as solo endgame content, so it does in fact need to be soloable - it can get even harder in a group too.
It is soloable. It’s in fact easier if you go in solo. The health gain on the mobs is heavily disproportionate to the power increase from adding more players. Synod on layer 3 with a guildie he got to 14 stacks before we killed him. Solo? I can kill him in a convoke.
Whilst we’re in the region of the maw… When do I get quests to go back? I did a bunch, unchained the runecarver’s first shackle and got 5/5 jailer’s eye… Then I haven’t been told to go back since?
Afaik there’s nothing telling you go to back yet? Except the calling that requires you to collect stuff from torghast. You should do at least one run in every available wing on the highest layer you can do, every week, even if you don’t get anything telling you to go back.
I’ll have to check my quest log again and see if I have anything to do there… If not I’ll just got run the one that I didn’t do yet
well not soloable with no gear … he want that he can walk trough with no gear like there is nothing + not a single enchant … well no way get gear first if it end game than should be challenge not just walktrough and there is few enchant which i think can even do heaing i thing and that mage is crying with no gear and not a single enchant that he cant kill last boss … AND GAME NEVER SHOULD HAVE SINGLE PLAYER end game content… if u want single player play diablo
