I think the point of Torgast is strategy and seeing as the only strategy we’ve seen in this game is relegated to content that casual players (of which I am a part of) don’t normally do, ofc it seems hard. Just plan out your run and you’ll be fine.
Improvise. Adapt. Overcome! Or just complain that it’s too hard, in the forums.
interupting , stuning , ccing , moving out of cleave/aoe - is hardly called “tactics”
its called knowing what you are doing and knowing your class
that said if people fail so much they can always farm their legendaries by farming only lv 2 layers . according to wowhead it take 5400 ash to upgrade to level 4 - its 7 weeks of farming only layers 2 nothing else.
7 weeks to get your bis legendary that will work till end of tier ? its not that long
So I retired and this time got good enough powers to the point where the boss was soloable. Why would they allow it so that you can be given powers so bad that the combination of yous class and those powers make the tower incompletable? I guess it is more of a power problem than difficulty then. But either way it needs reworking.
There is a huge number of players who cant afford to essentially waste time completing 6 dungeon levels only to not be able to kill the boss because of bad luck.
Torgast is great fun, the whole excitement of it is will you get awesome powers and rip through it or will you get bad ones and have to be methodical? People crying because they might fail at something they invested an hour in? oh boo hoo. If you couldn’t re-try it I’d understand, but you literally have a whole week to complete layer 1,2 and 3 x 2
So far I have heard about two boss beating strategies (playing solo)
Get lucky and one/two shot the boss
Get unlucky and you still have a 20% chance to beat it .
So far I have never seen anyone beating the boss by any other means. Let’s say you are a warlock and you just got 100% Fear CD reduction (idk if there is such Anima power, but let’s pretend there is) - and then you beat the boss by non-stop fearing it and reapplying your DoTs. Sure it can take you 15 minutes to do so, but I haven’t heard about anyone who had such experience.
There is no middle ground - you either press ALL defensive and offensive CD’s you have (and still have like an 80% chance to fail), or press none (may be one).

You still need to do the daylies, the dungeons to gear up… If you work it’s a big chunk of your time just to lose because of a bad boss with bad powers, just saying.
What like an hour maybe 2 in a whole week if you’re really unluckly? just group with 1 other person if you’re that worried about it. It really isn’t a problem.
If a hunter 138 gear score can clear the 2 level 3 its possible. Its down to what you pick along the way. I ended up with 78k health and untargetable by the end boss on both level 3. There are plenty of buffs just clear each room its that simple.
I play fire mage for the class spec fantasy, I don’t really wanna have to play as a frost mage, but if the next layer is equally as hard ill suck it up and go frost.
I just pressed convoke on my druid and they died, I couldn’t even queue heroics when I did layer 3 on my druid. One convoke and the boss was dead. On my rogue I actually had to do something.
so u want everthing isntant and now and on top of that u are even 160 gear only and u are not even 170 what u can get from heroic . so dont cry and get gear and get better in game . if u cant waster time for 6 levels than dont play it … u want everything instantly and know … what is point if u get everything istant
