Kael'Thas' old voice actor SHOULD be rehired

As many of you already know, Kael’Thas’ voice actor has been changed due to certain allegations that have come out recently surrounding Quinton Flynn (Kael’s VA).
The court however has decided that he is in fact innocent.

It would be the right thing from Blizzard to actually let this man keep his position. There’s no way in hell anyone can replace someone as legendary as him, especially when there’s no reason why he should be replaced in the first place, given the fact that every bit of negativity surrounding him has in fact been proven to be, false.

Along as it was proven false then I see no reason for them to not get him back.

Would not have made the post asking for this if it had not been the case!
Honestly I think Blizz would get a lot of positivity if they did this. Though considering Swifty’s NPC is still incognito… :frowning:

Holy Shock! Thats insane! She actually did that?! Damn,if Blizz don’t get the man back then they are approving this sort of behavior!

Saddly we will have to deal with the new VO regardless.
Maybe they will not touch Classic TBC.

It’s 2021, cancel culture bullying people as usual.

Another failure from Blizzard, add it to the pile.

Disgusting move nonetheless.
They only promote that BS, without any actual justice decision. 2021 at its finest.

What makes you think he’s just waiting for them to call? He’s probably not too thrilled about the idea of working with them again.

Fair point. I wouldn’t be too pleased either.

Not really, from reading that he had three accusations against him and blizzard would have been bad if they didn’t stop working with him and it turned out to be true, people would be crying “they should have done something when they accusations were made” and now because they did and it appears that they were false blizzard are bad. Damned if they do/damned if they don’t.

At the end of the day blizzard isn’t actually the bad guy here, the women who made false accusations are, the one who made the Twitter account and ruined this man’s life. Shifting blame to blizzard only serves to let them off the hook and say “it’s ok for women to do this because we will only look to be angry at the people who acted on your lies”

I wonder what gonna happen if there was @bewareBKotick Twitter account :face_with_hand_over_mouth::thinking:

Blizzard does their PR and hiring on Twitter. Just look at some of the devs behavior on there. They talk more about politics than games

They see Twitter as the bastion of morals, ofcourse they will just blindly follow whatever culture outrage there is on Twitter.

It’s a hijacked company, a clique, borderline cronyism.

Blizzard is not the main bad guy here, but they are the enablers. This corporate culture encourages false accusations because even if you don’t win in court, you’ll still cause a lot of damage.

Still waiting for someone to falsely accuse Bobby Kotick to prove this point.

Blizzard did the right thing at the time.

Now it’s time to put things right with the voice actor.

He should release a voiceover in Kael’Thas voice:

those allegations were merely a setback

Sad story to read, one of those typical ways women think they can just do anything to a man.

In Blizzard’s case, if they don’t put things right, they’re on these women’s side. Which would be really really bad.

And what happens to these women? The guy can be defamatized, but if their names are revealed it’s against the law? I’d say lock them tf up.

If they didn’t publically state the reason for removing the voice lines was due to allegations they are safe, unfortunately. It wouldn’t surpise me as that would be the very slimiest of ways to go about it-- if he’s found not guilty then there’s nothing to worry about as we don’t have to worry about paying damages or anything like that.

They can do anything they want with the game files.

Companies feel they have to comply with public opinion and witch hunts because all they care about is money.

Despite all this it’s still now the case that he could still be guilty. That’s the nature of these things of course because the court isn’t always right-- which is why it is disgusting that people are allowed to make these allegations public, as I myself have to admit I can’t be certain about the truth. Shouldn’t these things be kept private until guilt or innocence is determined? Once someone is ACCUSED of these kind of crime they are stained for life, even if they didn’t do it.

Why?
If I robber a bank where I work, that doesn’t make all the employees thieves and casted out from the premise… :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

The World of Cancel Craft. I’m seriously worried about the world we live in. There’s just way too much stuff going in politics and it affects to the game and philosophy of fantasy and also writing. You may have an opinion but #metoo campaign has gone a bit too far. Women also are bullying men, fun fact. It’s not happening to only just for women. World is sick, it absolutely is and recognising flaws of degeneration takes generations to heal. I want to play a game or read a book without anyone from the outside touching it or trying to make it be more “acceptable”. It’s an artists work and it should be let alone to be it.

WoW is dying because we are reaching to the point where an MMO game is evaluated by the playerbase, politics, world outside and not the artists by themselves who create their art.
