Who are we?
The Nightsong Watchers are a small, specialist division of the Watchers tasked with safeguarding and protecting their shores from the defilers that threaten to besmirch hallowed ground. This splinter group was formed in the wake of the Fourth War in order to serve their people once more as the jailors and marshals of Kaldorei society.
They are often tasked with dealing with heretics and defilers alike, to ensure they are brought to justice through any means necessary. These stalwart Watchers are no stranger to acts of infiltration and covert assignments, nor are they a stranger to aiding external military forces should their aid be requested.
With Elune’s radiance as their guide and the shroud of night as their ally, the Watchers remain steadfast in their duties as they pursue their quarry without hesitation or mercy. May Elune’s enemies fear the dagger in the dark.
The Nightsong Watchers are secretive by nature and their records are shrouded in mystery. The only official records on file states they were formed by Captain Stormfall and Lieutenant Ravenmoon after being tasked with aiding to rebuild what has been broken.
Guild Information
Anyone with an interest in Watcher role play may join us, whether you are a seasoned watcher or an initiate looking to embark upon a journey to become one. We welcome those of varied experiences and if you are new to the role-playing scene there are plenty of people who will aid you along the way.
We seek individuals who are committed to their character concept and those who strive to develop their character further. While the officer core will DM events, we are also looking for those who are willing to take initiative and pursue their own storylines when events are in short supply.
Those who join will go through a trial period of three weeks to see if their characters fit within the guild’s concept and also it allows you to test if the guild is the right place for them. At the end of this trial period, your character will undergo a small in character trial and then take an oath to mark your entry into the Watchers.
Please note that the Nightsong Watchers:
- Only accept Kaldorei into the guild due to the nature of the lore. In regards to the changes in recent times (Jarod Shadowsong) we do allow males to join.
- Require the guild tabards to be worn when your character is on duty.
- Watcher/Warden appropriate transmogs to be used when fulfilling IC duties - suggestions can be found on our discord server.
- Only accept the following classes:
- Rogue
- Warrior
- Hunter
- Druid
- Priestess
- Monks
- Are not a dumping ground for your alts. We require a decent level of activity and for you to be involved with the guild and any events that are organised, otherwise you may end up being removed.
How to join?
Enlisting within the Nightsong is relatively straightforward, you may seek us out in character or send a letter to the Captain or Lieutenant in order for a meeting to be arranged. If you are a Watcher who has previously served within another unit, a transfer may be requested. If you are a druid or a priestess who seeks to aid the regiment then you must make this apparent within your letter.
If an officer isn’t online when you approach a member of the guild, speak with one of the members who will forward your interest to either the Captain or the Lieutenant.
