I seem to remember the final zones in several expansions - recently Zereth Mortis and then Emerald Dream - kept me occupied as a lowbie kind of player until the end of their respective expansions. I would log in most days and find stuff to do.
Two weeks in a row now I seem to “complete” K’aresh the first day and then when I log in, there’s nothing to do on the map? Maybe hang out for some rare spawns but they are few and far between, and the treasure chests are negligible and not worth flying around for?
Honest question - am I missing something or doing something wrong, or is K’aresh just a once a week place?

The outdoor content is bare bones.
Also what exactly is the point in these treasure chests? Majority of them give something like 12 valorstones. I’d rather just not have the treasure chest even exist on my mini map.

Yeah I keep asking myself the same thing: “What am I supposed to do here?”
I do the phase-diving quest, and maybe kill a rare I look for specifically, kill the world boss; Then I am like… “Time for another alt… questionmark”
I’m just gonna chill and do old content stuff majority of the time now.

I don’t like Karesh, so when I have nothing to do, I do old content or farming some sort of. But my tasks there are left untouched

I would really like to know that as well.
In the beginning I opened all of them, but as I only got useless crap from them, I now just ignore them. The result is that they’ve turned into pointless clutter on the mini map.

You need renown 11 to see better chests in normal world and in phase-diving. Some of them are tricky.
And Phase-Lost-and-Found achievement surely gonna take some time.

They can give BoEs for transmogs, the “worn” stuff. Think they have a “higher” chance over mob drops.

It lacks dailies. Even though the achievements refer to dailies. So far I’ve only seen quests with the WQ changeover on Wed and Sat.
I enjoyed Korthia but wasn’t a fan of ZM.

The Wq’s reset twice a week, I was hoping it would have been more like the end zones from past expansions as well.

That is part of the reason of the drip-feeding of Midnight info, to detract from this very issue you laid out.

Since DF, world quests reset only twice a week, so yeah, it’s easy to run out of world quests, and then you have to wait until Sunday for new ones to crop up.
S3 as a whole feels rushed and “a thrown bone”, and Karesh reflects this pretty well.
