Honestly I don’t care about WW, I don’t play it. So … what was your argument again ?
Here’s a comparison 101 for you :
Some Immunity cooldowns allow you to play your character to a certain degree, some don’t allow you to do so.
We can compare these spells on a this basis. It’s fair.
Blessing of protection is only countered by a single offensive purge, ok however, it does counter cooldowns with massive game defining powers ( Blind, Karma and so on ), whilst not requiring any sort of a trade off. Well it’s a long cooldown and you just have to be out of forebearance that’s all. If you press it in some scenarios, you instantly win because of an outdate interaction. Said interaction used to be balanced in a game with long duration on forebearance and where you were not meant to use physical dps abilities during the buff. How times have changed…
This is simply a historic description of how it works really. If you get mad because you can’t stomach bare facts, it’s not my problem.
Ill say the same then.
Currently I do not play ret… What was your argument again?
Ignoring what people write is the norm for some people. But because you ignore what I write, ill just do the same exact thing.
Remove Peaceweaver. Its so gamebreaking that one ability can remove so much without backlash…
Huh? Are you okay? I know I said I wouldnt read but man, this comment was funny and made me chuckle. single offensive purge right, so negating a big 5 min CD defensive with a single purge is perfectly fine while a 1.5 min cd karma being negated by a 5 min cd is not okey.
I can see you dont really have too much understanding but only enjoy comparing when it suits you
Right… Sorry but im not mad when people like you write, but nice try
You are the one being dishonest here. You say by my logic, Peaceweaver should be removed. No, Peaceweaver is completely fine. Now imagine if Peaceweaver not only removed all debuffs from your allies, but also all buffs from your enemies, THAT would be unbalanced. That is what BoP is doing right now for WW monks (obviously on a smaller scale)
I wasnt even answering you. Or is Elasha your main/alt?
By your definition, what you see is fine while what you see as not fine is not.
Yes, it removes karma because karma counts as both defensive and offensive in the coding. Which makes you able to play around it if you have issues with BoP or do you expect them to always save it for karma?
It is the only immunity cooldown that allows you to move your character and dps and heal during the buff. Menwhile it negates all physical damage whatsoever. It also removes other physical debuffs and prevents the application of physical debuffs. You can even remove some antagonist defensive cooldowns with it
He answered it like it was directed towards him. Big difference but people like you cant really understand it
So all you can say as defensive is
Which points towards something quite interesting.
Peaceweaver gives you(and everyone else) magical immunity for 2 seconds and you can do w/e you want while being in it.
Its almost like you dont read what your own talents do
But thank you for giving me quite the laugh! What would the forum be without people like you x)
And by the way, since we’re on the topic of paladins, did you know that rets have an ability that is incredibly similar to touch of karma in concept, but works nothing alike? This ability is Shield of Vengeance and what it does is it puts an undispellable shield on the paladin protecting 35% of their health and at the end of its duration, it bursts nearby enemies for the total amount absorbed for the duration, on a 1 min cd.
Touch of karma protects the monk for 50% of the monk’s health and 70% of the damage absorbed is applied to the monk’s initial target, on a 1,5 min cd.
Why can’t Karma be coded in a similar way? all I’m asking is for karma to apply an undispellable shield on the monk, and 70% of the damage absorbed to be transfered to my target as a damage stacking magic debuff. The debuff should be dispellable by any magic dispeler, but it would be constantly reaplied every time the monk’s karma shield takes damage. This way, there would be incentives to dispel the debuff at the right time, avoiding the bulk of the damage.
Your complaint is noted.
Karma is 1.5 min CD, BoP is 4 min when talented, still almost 3 times longer.
BoP is also purgeable/spellstealable while karma is not, you wanna climb that hill too?
