I keep getting removed from ZA for wanting to do the boss Halazzi; So I guess I’m never getting the caster ring from him? At this point with almost every ZA I get into it is a forced skip run where even asking to do one of the bosses to the left (Akil’zon and Halazzi) is insta kick.
Also why is the door to Hex Lord Malacrass open when two bosses are alive? If players want valor they should go start a group with eachother and skip anything they want but in RDF all bosses should be mandatory.
This mindset of “we need to save 2 minutes or the world ends” is the worst thing about Classic.
I didn’t even now the door was open without killing all the first bosses. Shame, I hope not that many people know about it and try to rushskip through. I really hate the skip mentality too. If you don’t enjoy the game, stop playing it.
Another post with I don’t like the group I am matched with using RDF. You forget the meaning of the word random. Make your own group and you can make anything you want mandatory.
So basically, just because you are using RDF tool to find PUG for dungeon instead of forming the PUG manually, it justify large portion of CATA Classic players being toxic douches. OK…
I support the idea that bosses would be skippable only for pre-made groups.
That would however cause lot of complains about that Blizz is either forcing them to help other players to gear up, or stripping them of the convenience to simply click and forget, till the dungeon entry prompt pops up.
Let’s be honest here though. You don’t get kicked simply for asking to not skip the boss.
You get kicked for arguing with them, or refusing to participate because they skipped the boss you need to defeat for specific loot.
I’ve learned to take it as it is, always politely ask them if we could not skip the content, and if they decline the request, I simply try another time.
If randoms can just leave after boss xyz because they got their loot/ no prospect of loot anymore, I can skip bosses or remove players for abysmal dmg/behavior. Simple as that.
edited by moderator leaving is way more infuriating than anything else.
If the general consensus of the majority is to skip, who are you to bicker about it? You are always free to build your own group.
There are no written rules for the Lfd, it only brings people together.
