Keep Molten Core 20+ and revert the hotfixed "bug"

Please consider reverting the change to allow flex raids in MC.

We currently have a roster of 24 and its savage to have to bench people.

Allowing guilds to choose if they want to sacrifice loot to allow the entire raid team to raid should be their choice. Allowing us to take 20+ into Ony+WB but then bench the remainder for MC is just going to make people have to pug, leave the guild then only to find themselves in the same situation.

If it’s that much of an argument, keep Heat 3 locked at 20 as that does drop different cosmetic items.

I raised the same concerns here

We are a guild comprised of 3 sets of real life friends and currently have 21 people, with another 3-4 levelling. Not enough to split into two raids, but now too many to join 1. It’s very unfortunate and will likely lead to people getting benched and frustrated

Yea exactly.
Our roster has atm 25 people, gotta leave 5 players out and start benching… well if something makes me unsub its bs like this. Yay get to raid every 2 weeks…

All this bench complaining shows you how many retail players play SoD. It’s such a non issue in classic.

There is absolutely no reason to not have a flex system. This is a D-move from blizzard.

First guilds cant find 20 people, and raising the raids from 10 to 20 man raids is oh so bad, now they have 25 people so now 20 man limit on raids is oh so bad

Yeah. My guild got f-ed by the 20 raid size in p3, and we now run collab-raids with another guild who are in the same situation. In total we get 23-24 signs for MC. The flex system was great for us to just go and have fun, not having to bench anyone, for the small price of a little less drops per player.

I have since long stopped expecting the devs to actually think before they do anything.

Please revert this change!
Having to force 3-10 ppl every reset to pug and sit out on raids seriously sucks.

Revert the change! It’s not fun having the bench my friends that i want to raid with.

There is no point in limiting it to 20 man on SOD.
Let us be able to have fun without leaving friends out.

I think at the very least you can leave heat 1 as flex for those that just want to vibe with beer and pretselz

literally everyone will clear H3 in 2-3 weeks just because get enough FR gear, no reason to do any changes only to H1. For all heat levels or nothing.

please bring back the function to go into the raid with more than 20 people. There is not a single good reason not to leave it in. It’s too easy? So what? The guild penalizes itself for going into the raid with more people because it has to divide the items among more people.

Bring it back please, flex raid with flex loot amount!

absolutely abysmal change.

in my guild we have a roster of around currently 26. this is to take into account. most of the people in our guild have familys and work shifts that might stop them raiding each and every week. the flex raiding allows us to take lets say 26 but if a healer and 2 dps are off on holiday , sick, work, family commitments/ children we can cope with taking 22 if need be

Yeah i get it if people dont want it for heat level 3.
But i see no reason to not add flex for heat level 1.
You as a raid get punished for having more people in the raid beacuse more have to share loot. But it dosent hurt the game overall by doing it

heat 1 should definitely be flexible.
its already easy mode and it should allow everyone to come without officers having to resort to exclusions.

heat 2 and 3? fine, keep it 20 max.

i instantly fell in love with the flexibility of world boss/ony raids due to being able to basically bring everyone to the fun and not benching people based on a shortness of space.

it also allowed for more flexible raid recruitment, but if we’re gonna be hardlocked to 20 ppl on all modes of MC that’s gonna lead to issues in that regard too.

honestly, i’d prefer if heat 2 allowed up to 40 as well, because as far as i can tell that’s the version of the raid which is meant to be closest to the vanilla version of MC, demanding some FR from everyone, but mostly tanks, while you can supplement with GFPPs for dps/healers through prepops and in-fight pops in case of dpsers.

heat 3 is supposed to be the hard mode, so i understand restrictions being in place for that mode.

+1 for this thread.

This needs to be flex, try raiding with IRL friends without it, we have families, we need to be flexible.

Actually think all heats being flexible would be much better for the game, make it happen blizzard.
