I’m all for keeping all old content in-game.
Why should they remove content they’ve worked so hard on adding?
It’ll keep collectors busy and engaged with old raids.

Yes they should make everything available to everyone. They pay the same as everyone else for the same game but are penalised for starting too late or not being raid ready or having really bad luck on pulls. I sure dont have that amount of gold but I’m assuming people saying they are cheap in paid raids are advocating for RMT to be even more prominent. I wouldnt want that, especially with everyone complaining about it ruining their server economy. And a lot of stuff becomes available on BMAH down the line because it was blizz’s terrible attempt to deal with RMT gold. Although giving people more reason to buy gold instead of the opportunity to farm things themselves is their own stupidity. Everyone should be able to access everything in the game, end of. You like walking around with stuff you got back in Naxx to show off, great for you. It means nothing to me personally what others wear but I definitely want the chance to get things I love at my own pace and everyone should have that opportunity.
Everything should not be available to anyone. Thats when the game started becoming meaningless. OP youre wrong and an idiot.
Besides, not a single item in the relaunch of Classic has any sort of importance or value.
Every player from every last casual guild had everything from Naxx in 2019 Classic.
None of it matters but the “everything should be available to everyone mentality” is totally braindead!
If it has no value to anyone then its zero problem to have it available to everyone. If you dont agree then thats your own wrong opinion. Find another thread that has your own mentality in it.
If anything, drop rates on items that are considered special shouldve been much lower. they felt way too high in classic. Everybody and their mother had a ZG mount, Sulfuras, Thunderfury and all that.
Also items like these should be made unavailable with the release of an expansion.
Why do you think they should be so limited and unavailable to others paying for the game same as you who just happened to be unlucky then?
cause the “cool thing” about having a special item used to be that you not only had to get lucky with a drop, you also had to convince a large amount of other players on why you should get it, its a competition and very social.
Antisocial idiots should not be allowed to solo farm such items in a later expansion. But like i said, the too high drop rates in 2019 Classic made any item meaningless and irrelevant anyway.
Its just a really stupid topic about “I didnt stick to the given rules to obtain something i want, now i want the rules changed”.
So how do you satisfy both groups if everybody just gets the same stuff. For example the people that play 12 hours a day vs the people that play 4 hours a week.
A good game satisfies both groups. Even tho they both pay the same subscription.
Every game has stuff that gets removed out of the game once the content gets to easy. Specially RPGs it’s healthy for the game.
It kinda sounds like you never bothered getting it so you want to get it once the content is solo farmable. Right now the gear has meaning specially in Wotlk and Cata onward. If it’s availible forever its meaningless and trash.
So youre fighting about something you think is completely stupid that you think has zero value and you don’t care about? So why bother saying anything as it affects you in no way it seems? Also why limit just these items and not others? You mentioned sulfuras and thunderfury. I have both so i shouldn’t have other items?
Also I understand the Chromie time thing but that’s not really for classic imo.
I think they should test that out in retail at some point to go back in time so people in retail can get their nax40 set.
I doubt people will like that tho, it will make people that actually got the unique items back in the days scared that all the stuff that they got back in 2004/2005 will become availible at some point once u open that door.
For example the Mage Tower Legion they re-released but with slightly different sets/transmogs which is IMO a great thing. Aslong it’s not exactly the same.
Gives the casual player the opportunity to still get the set but with a slightly different colour. So the people that actually dedicated themself farming it back in the days are also still happy cus it’s ‘‘slightly’’ unique still.
How? Well, easily! You get scarab lord title for doing the chain as realm first, and black quiraji resonating crystal in the short window after the gong is banged. After that no title is given, but the quest remains (until cataclysm at least).
You will get “Champion of the Naaru” title and “Hand of A’Dal” title for completing attunements when the content is current. After that no title is given, but the quest remains.
Same for Naxx: give people titles, feats of strength, legacy achievements, but don’t cut out important pieces of lore like the reforming of Atiesh quest, or other Naxx related quests. And for that, You need Naxx 40 to remain in Plaguelands.
It’s fun to read people unironically suggesting others to play 10h a day for 10 days.
Wasn’t really a suggestion, but I just want to mention it’s very easy to farm gold.
I mean I know a lot of gamers that play 10+ hours in the weekend.
Live and let live.
They can get it why its current, that satiates them. So let others get it after, that satiates them. Why does it matter how much someone is playing it. People have different lives and different times available. You think those people should have less opportunities in their gaming life because of other life commitments?
No i raid naxx 40 every week.
What meaning does it have now in wotlk and cata that wont be present for others down the line or start late?
We basically get a Nax re-release.
They could actually put the Atiesh quest in the re-release for the people that want to do the quest for lore.
Just a suggestion.
Why do that when they can just leave everything available? Make it a CoT thing for others to do as they wish. Zero downsides to leaving it in. People can keep getting what they want and all the people that say to remove it because it doesnt matter wont care because it doesnt matter to them apparently. I see no reason to limit people’s enjoyment. Apparently blizzard and some other forum users do.
You forgot to mention those naxx raids usually half the team SR Corrupted Ashbringer and sell it under the table
And you feel thats better than allowing people to farm for that and other things in their own time?
You probably won’t see Corrupted Ashbringer tho.
But you can SR your whole set!
I am doing Nax with 3 chars every week since it got released basically in classic vanilla up until now.
I saw it three times in total.
So understandable that the real collectors pay alot of gold for it.
It’s not going to happen because the WotLK Naxx actualy replaced the Vanilla Naxx, you are even in EPL when you are in the WotLK version of Naxx. They are not going to make such substantial changes to the game imo
