Blizz, we really do need to keep Naxx 40 available going forward to other expansions. To remove original naxx and all its wonder for whatever reason youve deigned seems ludicrous. Is it Lore? Simply fixed, send a link to chromie in Caverns of Time and have it available there. Makes sense.
Too much hassle?.. please, its right there already. Any half brain should be able to make it available as stated above in the classics team.
Its wasnt available in retails experience and shouldn’t be now? Well, youve gone and changed a load of things after your whole “no changes” motto which happens to just switch now to “some changes”.
People who got stuff there should be heralded as epic gods because they ran it longer and rngesus blessed them more then the others that ran it and didnt get blessed by what they wanted? Well thats just a terrible attitude, why limit the availability of anything to your paying customers for that matter? Youve had your reputation dragged through the mud recently, dont allow favouritism for others that were there earlier and luckier.
Honestly the list could go on and a large quantity of your playerbase hate that you constantly keep removing experiences from your games. Let them play it and keep everything in the game to be honest. Do us all a favour and keep Naxx 40. Its tiresome to pay for something you just willingly rip from our hands y’know. Good Player experience, google it.
I would agree if only to make all the people who spend 40,000 gold on an Ashbringer this month feel dumb. There is zero reason for the raid to be removed from a gameplay point of view, but it will be because of technical limitations.
There are not limitations. The WoTLK instance isn’t the same as the vanilla one. Classic will mimic things becoming unobtainable with time as it was back then. That starts with simple things as title to mounts (Scarab lord for example) and then transmog/vanity items (like removed instances and their loot).
It is the same instance, you’re even technically in EPL when you enter it. They just placed the portal in Northrend and rebalanced the raid for lvl80 25man.
There is no precedence - why Classic should have unobtainables available? Collectors would be happy later on soloing old raids for transmog they can’t have on retail
Yep, if they really wanted to deal more of a blow to gold buyers or sellers then how about actually make all the RMT more worthless. They probably have a hand in it, part of the frat mentality they already have been accused of. Outwardly admonish it but only as lomg as they are making off it.
I dont see how it benefits them to have one side showing off something they like that another cant purely because they wanted to remove it. Kind of screams pushing RMT neccessity to obtain their purposefully removed digital items. They wouldn’t make anything off it to allow their paying customers to get something at their own pace against the might of rngesus
If they are not going to remove it all tier 3 armors and items having unique models collectioning would be pointless. Besides many Naxx weapons and even cloaks can still be obtained in Naxx 10. Either gather your own raid and farm it now or stop creating useless threads.
They’ll be as unique as every other tier as it should be. Some stuff is available sure, but not all of it. My point is they should just keep everything accessible. Not a pointless thread any more than any other. You are welcome to stay the hell out of it though, only wasting your own time if you arent interested.
Two things from me. First, in the recently released article:
Blizzard stated that there are three pillars of wow classic. They called one of them “The World is the Main Character”. As they explained:
“This pillar means we need to preserve the world we have created from excessive changes. You should be able to collect the lost pages of the Green Hills of Stranglethorn, to rescue the town of Darkshire from Stitches, or to return to Tempest Keep and face off against Prince Kael’thas one more time (and hope for rare mount drop)”
I believe, that keeping Naxx 40 within the game is in line with this design pillar.
Secondly, i’d like to say that apart from Naxx 40 there’s a lot of other content that was cut with the coming of WotLK. To name a few: Onyxia 40, alliance Onyxia attunement questline (not sure about horde counterpart), Quel’Serrar questline, Aqual/Eternal quintessence questline. These should be preserved too.
Completely agree. Blizzard contradict themselves constantly. Its well within their ability to have different loaded zones depending on what is needed is ddesired by the player. And yes people will very much reply with “well why should they, they can do what they want. Do it whilst its current scrub and just pray”. Quite simply because its the game im paying them to play. We are the customer and its their job to actually give us an enjoyable experience instead of doing whatever they desire on a whim jist because they were big before when they had no real contest. Just laziness.
Yes let’s make every exlusive title/scarab lord/tabard/set in the game availible for everyone to grab. You know how boring this game will be, there is literally no reason to continue playing. The whole reason why people play is to get the stuff they didn’t got back in the days because they missed the event for example.
It’s good to have unobtainable items in the game.
Ashbringer would be worthless if every one walked with it same as Atiesh. We kinda see to many already anyway.
We have had almost 2 years to farm your tier 3 set + other items from Nax40. The whole reason why Nax40 is so special is because of these items and sets. Once it will stay forever nobody will care about these items anymore for example MC/BWL/AQ gear. Simply worthless. It gives a feeling of satisfaction when you farmed your set before Wotlk, if you are a collector it should have been on your prio list.
It’s a lil weird to make a post about this 3/4 weeks before it’s gone. You have had so much time to farm your tier 3. I got it on every single alt.
Plenty of Gbids are still going specially right now. Tokens go for cheap. You can even join SR runs but I doubt you will manage to get the full set in 3 weeks if you SR 1 item each run.

You can simply play the game and farm the gold or either join SR runs.
I don’t get the RMT thing. I understand people buy gold but not everyone does.
I am assuming you are a paladin with strat 1 pulls you can easly make 200/300g hour. and LBRS 400g hour even. Thats 4000 gold if you just pump 1 day for 10 hours. Which is 40.000 gold in 10 days.
You really don’t have to RMT. Most people that buy gold are people that literally don’t play the game.
