Keti caravan

I feel like most of the playerbase was already attracted to the Horde before Vulpera came along, it mostly stems from Blizzard being unable to stay too serious because “haha furry goblin go annoy people.”

I have nothing against people who enjoy the furry side of things, but races like the Worgen, Vulpera, or Pandaren seem to attract the more “out there” types that really ruin the image for the whole races. Making it so that even those who pull off a Vulpera successfuly will do little to improve the perception because for every good nomad, you end up with at least three eternally horny leg humpers.

This thread is such a poop-show, between alt-posters, people who admit to ERP with who knows what, and Keti trying to save face while being an absolute mess, I am surprised this didn’t cause another plague outbreak.

No, Wogger.

That sounds like a 50’s racist slur.

The eternal struggle that I (and many others) stubbornly refuse to just give up on and find something more productive to do.

It’s especially bad on my native RP server where the ratio appears to be 90% the worst of the furry fandom, 8% playing Vulpera for the memes and 2% people who actually try to portray them accurately.

Or Flogger. For every gnoll under his rule that doesn’t behave gets flogged. And hyenas irl seem to be pretty caring for each other, which would be a nice vibe to have in the desert gnolls as well, while still very much being scavengers. And it could all be without too cutesy fox-people that attract the wrong crowd…

Kind of saddening that threads like this get more attention than actual role-play incentives.

It became a thing of its own right now.

I have a feeling that Keti’s Caravan post might survive PCU’s recruitment posts at one point if people keep having casual conversation in this one.

That’s unfortunately the lot of every furry race that is forced to have a cutesy side in order to mass appeal.

Sadly, after I saw what the more “questionable” RP going on in ESO, despite having the Argonian and Khajits be as far as the Furry cutesy stereotypes as possible, there they were… You could find them just like that.

On the Wow side… I don’t wanna remember the Vietnam that was Duskwood and all the Pack Guilds man. Butchering the inner conflict between man and beast combined with the trauma of having butchered so many along the way to just… What Pack Guilds were is just a bad memory.

I’m not contemplating race changing yet but everyday I stray closer to just being picking something else as I don’t want that stigma.

Personally, I’d quite like anthropomorphic giraffe people next. I’m more than willing to apply to the writing team to make it happen. They’ll be a secretive people that have not been seen since the shattering because of their creed to not involve themselves in worldly affairs but the sword of sargeras plunged into the planet’s core damaged their underground habitats where they have large, thriving subterranean expanses. They’ll be hardy engineers with technology and golems.

Basically imagine them as furry equivalent to gnomes. Bipedal giraffes with engineering capabilities.

Sounds good to me.

Don’t. I like the idea of Vulpera in the Horde myself. We need people who roleplay them well.

Maybe we can just make it into the lore that a majority of the Vulpera are from the noble Tribes and often travel far and wide to serve the Horde.
And the other part are the inbred hillbilly Vulpera, outcasts of the tribes. That wouldn’t survive it outside the cities gate, so they stay there, bumming about.

Because 50% of it is.

Here on AD, you at least have the option of decent Vulpera guilds that try to stick to the theme and tone that fits them, like the Dustpaw.

Meanwhile, the two only existing Vulpera guilds on my other server are essentially these very same pack guilds, but with the cutesy foxes.
ERP, child RPers, incredibly cringy relationship drama galore, the whole business. And these are, as I said, the two only existing Vulpera guilds.

It’s more than a little disheartening, but I refuse to let that stigma keep me from playing a Vulpera and doing whatever I can to do the concept justice.

Fun fact, Rykah has taken to use the term ‘mainland sickness’ for these kinds of Vulpera.

So instead of Fremen they’d be Khajiit.

This thread will end one day…
It has to…
Right?

(Sad thing is I knew about the new Archon Seven guild and was half waiting for it to be name dropped here…)

Is this the plot to Mamma Mia?

Because people love a good controversy, deserved or not.

Remove Vulpera, nothing good comes out of them.

Also fire the furry devs.

Remove this thread, rather. Nothing good comes out of it.

That moment your recruitment post has two likes, but like 1500 comments, and keeps on counting.

By all accounts from that time (I had friends in that campaign and even did a brief cameo-stint on my own character) she was perfectly cool back then. As in not a dragon or whatever the character has sinced morphed into.

Please tell me they’re at least contained in Orgrimmar still?
