I have set my mouse buttons as Key 2 for action bar 7 and action bar 8 but everytime I reload the UI or logout and re-enter to the character, I find action bar 7’s Key 1 and Key 2 is swapped. I am using character specific key bindings and similar thing happens on my another character.
This happens when the game can’t save its config to disk due to not having write permission.
Run the game “As Administrator”
I know some will comment that running software “As Administrator” is ill advised, as it gives that software access to the entire PC, but I really don’t believe Blizzard are doing anything nefarious, and its faster than trying to work out which folders need what permissions and what ownership.
Can try that but why it is working on one action button but not on the other, also Key 1 is default key set by the game to certain number key. I am trying to set my other button to Key 2 but they swapped after that.
