Keyboard not accepting W+A+Space

Hi,

I have an HP Pavilion Gaming 500 keyboard. There was this annoying issue that W+A+Space do not work char doesn’t jump at all. I got it replaced with a brand new one and the issue persists. Does anyone have any idea what can cause this? I’m using a windows 10 pro PC with the latest drivers installed.

Try a different make/model of keyboard to eliminate design fault.

I tried with a Razer Deathstalker no issues with it. I was using during the warranty repair. I tried disabling nvidia streaming and win 10 recording options and still nothing. Also re-installing the HP Drivers didn’t work.

This is what’s called “ghosting”, certain keys, when pressed together, do not register. This is a design fault of the hardware, and no driver update will fix it.

It has anti-ghosting and n-key rollover. And it was working 2 weeks ago…

Hey Asuka,

Please contact the manufacturer in this case to have it looked into.

Have a few seconds to spare? Let me know how I’m doing!

I got it replaced in the end the vendor agreed. It seems like a common issue with these keyboards. If anyone else has it with this king of HP keyboard there is no resolution change it.
