I played with my prot war alt some 19 and 18 it s literally wild west and i m not kidding trolling or something.
DPS throwing CDS when i announce we do big pull on bridge with BL in AA. I stay for 3 secs to prepare my stuff before going into the other pack, he throws CDS at first pack then when i charge into the second pack he have aggro, then he calls me stupid tank i got aggro.
People not intrerrupting Mystic Blast with 3 intrerrupts available, literally the one spell that can one shot.
People not doing los after i write LOS here 2 times in HoV and casters start to cast and they are spread everywhere. People ninja pulling sentinel when i tell them to hug wall, they even ninja pull it when we were outside, like how is that even possible. Guy ninja pulling 2nd guy big guy in RLP and when i clearly write stop and wait.
Healers that barely heals, i literally stayed with 20% HP for 15 secs at big 3 packs pull in BL spamming each defensives and ignore pain and his heals where like pots from classic.
What is going on really?
When a tank tells tells you we bl 2-3 packs, YOU don t attack at all until pack is complete near tank, you only intrerrupt. First of all u lose dps by doing that and second you steal aggro because tank will put his CDS DPS when the pack is complete so he have max DPS output, logic duhhhh?
Although I understand what you’re saying. But when you put yourself out into the “Wild West” as you call it, you shouldn’t expect everyone else to know and understand what you know.
Sometimes the worst players aren’t the ones who lack the skill and knowledge, it’s the player that doesn’t recognise when another might lack the skill and knowledge.
Above +20 keys is a niche group of players who are only interested in pushing keys. Below +20 keys you have players who are progressing, most of whom are only progressing to +20 for their rewards. So they’re not intested in knowing the ins and outs of every type of pull. They’re just there to get some loot and have a bit of fun. They don’t need an angry tank yelling at them and telling them what to do.
Ive never played with so many bad players in 16+ and above before either.
Ive wondered if blizz has implemented literal NPCs as fake players to join groups, but most of my friend list is doing 20s so i can only assume that good players that are doing 16-19 are there due to low gear but wont be there long.
The difference in dungeon drops and mythic raid drop/max vault ilvl has never been this far apart either
Before DF, loot scaled until 15, so everyone doing 16+ were there for pushing score or just for the challenge, but in the end, the goal was in either way to get better at it. Now, on 16-20, you’ll encounter the same kind of people doing 13-15 in the last expansions, people there for loot, assuming it should be doable only by overgearing it.
Add to that an abrupter key % difficulty scaling than before over 11 and an almost full of one-way corridor dungeons season, no wonder this kind of encounters happens.
nothing is going on. its thanks to blizzard brilliant idea to force people into higher difficutlies because it unlocks 415 upgrade for VP and gives better GV rewards.
in past all those people never did higher then 15 and in 15 due to much eaiser scaling you were carrying them without noticing it much .
the answer to this is only1 - you see they underperform ? you leave. there is no point wasting your nerves for people who dont deserve it.
sometimes people just assume that if you are in group with like 2400 players there will kick the most deadly spells .
want my example ? SBG 17 last night - i specialy deliberately tanked those mobs after 1st boss which cast death blast separately 2 at the time. in group with 3 melee . got 2 casts on myself because nobody interupted.
yes its my fault that i thought that 2400 people who were doing really good from start will inteript it instead just sigil of silence/stun , myself which i did on 2nd pack . but ffs its so annoying when they dont do even basic mechanics
still +2 it because its SBG but … i was like … "bro wtf "
We are talking about two different situations. SBG group after the first boss is indeed an fiesta if not all members using stuns and kicks especially in add weeks.
But I was talking about academy because it was the blast the OP was referring too. 1 kick is needed in this pack so dunno why he messed this up.
Please do not interrupt domination. Thats the cause of that pack being so hard because everyone always interrupts domination and fun ensues.
But as a fellow pugtank I must say that people on that level should know the dungeons or just stay out of that key level. Letting every tankbuster go off is not oke; not interrupting is childsplay and does not belong in a higher level timed event.
Not just that but common sense seems to lack there too. Just had a 19 sbg disband after people pulled giant elemental after first pack when I went invis. Ofcourse the tanks fault that people do not use their eyes.
? Not interrupting is just as dangerous. The adds domination is cast on will have random aggro and on fortified they will eat the heal. + 100% more health.

you look like you know what you talking about so i think you should find like minded people so you succeed more and fail less
you wait 3 sec while on a pack and before pulling next? you are super slow and dh probably thought you wont do big pull at all. really learn to tank before blaming anyone
