Keystone portals accountwide please?

I am here to voice my personal opinion on this. It may vary from yours. Please support this cause if you are for it.

I have searched the forums on this, I may be blind, but I have, so far, not found a topic on this, which surprised me.

My topic is the keystone portals you get when completing a level 20 or higher keystone dungeon. This has been a cause of frustration to me for a long while and I have decided to reach out to the forums, in hopes of Blizzard reading this and maybe making a change.

I am a main healer but I tend to switch classes a lot, depending on the content. This also means I do dungeons on multiple healer classes. My main is the one that gets the portals first and I usually get a couple portals on my alts. But I have never understood, why the keystone portals are not account-wide on all my max level characters. I have made the effort before and proven that I can complete this keystone level, why is this not an accomplishment that is unlocked on all of my characters? It would make the dungeon grind a lot nicer on my alts since it would reduce the time between dungeons. It would make the game flow a lot nicer.

I wouldn’t even be sour if they were locked behind completing that particular dungeon once on any level to unlock it on that new character, or lock it behind max level. Just make it more accessible to my alts.

What do other people think about this? What does Blizzard have to say on this topic?

Id actually 100% agree with this, i have an army of alts (mostly for achievement purposes) and id be far more inclined to play them at a higher level than i currently do if i didnt have a mountain of legacy things such as old portals and the like locked away on my main that havent come round yet in seasonal rotations (looking at you old MoP and WoD CM portald!)

while having them account wide would be really great, I have yet to find the value of said portals.
They even lose more value once the season is over and the dungeons are not in the pool anymore.
E.g. what is the value of underrot portal? Saving 20s flight time?

What is the value of the Neltharion’s Lair portal?

when it is current you save a lot of time travelling there.
Out of season it is quite useless, at least for me

Considering Darkheart Thicket and Blackrook hold are coming into rotation in a few weeks, I think it will continue to be pretty useful for a while

You won’t be traveling to those two dungeons from Nelths lair. You’ll take the portal room (or if not the halls of valor one if you have it).

Pretty sure NL is closer to Darkheart/BRH than Halls of Valor or Aszuna?

If the current season is anything to go by, the Valdrakken portals will be set to the 2 BfA dungeons and a Cata one. The SW portal to Aszuna is definitely further from Darkheart than Lair is (and HoV is way over on the right side of the map).

Distance from Aszuna to Blackrook is pretty much the same, I think.

Assuming I continue to (mostly) play druid in s3, it will be irrelevant for me because I’ll just use the Dreamgrove teleport, but I do wish they’d make these far from anywhere dungeons easier to access for characters that don’t have an option like that.

I probably just Dalaranstone and take the flightpath  I do not care that much about 10 more or less travel-seconds. NL was the ‘worst’ Legion dungeon to reach, i suppose.

Yeah, it isn’t like it’s important. It’s just annoying when you have limited time to play together, and your group has just abandoned a key that you weren’t going to time, so your teleports are on CD. If we’re organised, we stagger our TP use so at least 2 people are off CD, but we’re not always organised…

Its a quality of life improvement. Not just for keys but other game content.
