the current kill command animation is your character pointing to the target.
imo the look n feel gets a bit ridiculous when a lot of kill command resets proc when playing ranged (BM).
In the war within’s hero talents (pack leader) there is this talent:
“frenzied tear:
your pets basic attack has a 20% chance to reset the cooldown and cause kill command to strike a second target for 30% of normale damage”
which will make kill command even more spammy and the animation even more ridiculous.
isnt it possible to give kill command an animation of you character shooting a red flare or something at the target, instructing your pets to attack that target?
for survival you could keep the current animation
I might be a minority, but I think Kill Command animation works quite well? Like it communicates exactly what is happening, you’re commanding your pet to go for the throat, and they charge and bite the target.
Shooting something at target wouldn’t really work, because shooting suggests you should do some damage or other effect alongside your pet. There might be some other way to achieve similar effect as the current Kill Command, but reusing their Howling Blast animation for this is admittedly pretty smart /laugh
…that said, I also don’t think Survival should have Kill Command at all. But that would require full rework of SV talents and I don’t have much hope that will happen at this point.
Kill Command at least has something. It looks better with a 2H equipped though.
Fury of the Eagle is just you stabbing back and forth in front of you.
Spearhead is just you running inhumanly fast towards some sorry guy. Must be scary to be at the receiving end.
Mongoose Bite is just cycling the standard 2h weapon animations.
Death Chakram looked way cooler when they were just called Chakrams, or even Glaive Toss, rip.
Crows are gone as well, the most unique ability we had, that showed you just how annoying it was to face a Hunter. MoP/WoD animation and the sound was much better than what is now remaining in a dead BM node.
