Killed fyrakk 17 times heroic still no fyr'alath drop?

Hello i don’t know if someone can explain why i havent been able to loot the legendary even tho ive killed it 17 times now on heroic.

And on wowhead it says:
On your 15th Heroic (or higher) Fyrakk kill after the Legendary was available (Week 3), you will guaranteed get Fyr’alath the Dreamrender

first time i killed fyrakk was the same day as echo killed it. My character name is Asuuhduude, just wondering if someone got some insight why it haven’t dropped?

I have a suspicion that the bad luck protection got reset with the new season.

Based on what I’ve seen from other players dropping it, they got it much sooner than the previous old droprates so it is working you’re just still unlucky on the new droprate.

There is no official Blizzard post that states you will get it after the 15th Heroic Kill only that they buffed bad luck protection significantly.

Got mine today on 8th kill, there is no guaranteed kill that will drop it…

ahh okok! just no1 ive talked to or rls hasnt gotten it before their 15th kill. So was wondering if anyone here has killed more then that aswell without getting it

There have been posts in the past before about people asking for the 15th kill because of the Wowhead article.
It’s not guaranteed that it will drop, your chances will just increase, but it’s never 100%.

Seventeen is not a magic number.
