I’ve ran into a weird issue with Killing Spree, specifically in PvP.
Sometimes I will press the button into a warrior, they will Bladestorm in the same second or get a Slayer Strike, and my Killing Spree will go on CD, but no damage. No animation, nothing. Just a dead button, for no reason.
Is Killing Spree treated as a CC? I’ve seen it happen a few other times with other classes as well, but I couldn’t discern what did it specifically.
The Bladestorm one I’ve seen consistently now though, it’s dumb. Fix it Blizz please, rogue so bad with all these bugs right now.
KS is REALLY weird most of the time.
It cancels, if you press Bladeflurry before hand and ANY minion hit dies.
It cancels if the main minion dies.
It cancels if anyone frees themself from CC
It cancels if the enemy sneezes
It also regularly sets you down inside of an insta death AoE next to the boss or within a swipe mechanic or it puts you within a AoE during it and you then die right after, when the accumulated damage comes in delayed.
Killing spree shouldnt require a target when flurry is up.
It shouldn’t auto fizzle if a mob dies
It should teleport you behind the target (if applicable and blade flurry isnt active) when intially cast and stay at that position aslong as that mob is still and should only move you if the target moves.
It should have an invulnerablity peroid for fire on the floor, st damage and untargetable aoe damage should still hit you. (Such as a bosses aoe shout cast that hits everyone)
It shouldn’t cancel if the first strike is parried or dodged.
It shouldn’t be able to miss entirely and fizzle.
It should teleport you back to the cordinates of the mesh you were on as you cast it, not the in-world co-ordinates so you dont fall to your death if you use it on a moving platform (such as DB ships)
Quite easy for me to say this but I bet it is a nightmare to inpliment.
alternatively it should summon shadows or pets of some description to do KS for you.
Tbf i think vanish accross the board should leave a clone of you behind when used for a few seconds. Bit like wukong from league with a small health pool. It would keep mobs in combat so it gives you a brief window in pve to use vanish offensively seems like our burst is tied to stealth.
