Hey,
When Killing Spree finishes sometimes the Rogue stops auto attacking. While attack animation going you can use abilities (yellows) but auto attack stops unless you clear and re-target your enemy. Seems to often more if you use Glyph where KS returns you starting location but even if you are already melee it causes you stop autos.
