This forum confuses me. Are the people writing here in-character? If not, then… take a step back, deep breaths and repeat after me: It’s a game, a fictional story. Now, that said… I don’t say that a story can’t be discussed with passion. Hell, I myself can get worked up over certain topics, but some people in this sub-forum really take it to the next level.

It’s funny if it weren’t so sad. Sylvanas, who thought herself so clever, is starting to realize that she was manipulated since the moment she threw herself from Icecrown citadel. By the same guy who manipulated Arthas. Don’t get me wrong. Arthas made his (bad) choices himself, but the Jailer did know how to push his buttons. I am curious what the Jailer’s endgame is (and what he told Sylvy what it would be).
That doesn’t mean that I think she should be redeemed and live happily ever after. But I can see her sacrificing herself for the right thing in the end. Maybe to free Anduin of the Jailers domination. (Geez, Blizz, was it really necessary to shred this old hag’s heart to pieces?)
Anyways… should Sylvanas face the consequences for what she’s done? Absolutely. But that doesn’t mean she can’t do one last right thing in the end.
Though I am wondering. Will the Maw still exist (in its current form) after we defeat the Jailer?
Not gonna lie, I would not mind seeing a lightforged versrion of Sylvanas.

I think you missed the entire point of that section of her post. She said that she’s confused as to the context and setting that people try to play.
Imagine talking to a random person, with a genuine request as to where to go. They put on their actor’s hat, stand up and move stage left. Then give you a highly convoluted answer that could have been as easy as: “…Yes, I know where that is.”
That is what is happening. They are not idealizing Genocide and a War Criminal because they don’t understand or are confused as to the language being spoken here…
